Wella Professionals Ultimate Repair - Shampoo 250ml

Left my hair super shines, cleans and smelling absolutely incredible. With naturally curly hair I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get my curls as well as I normally do. I was really impressed with the quality of this shampoo. It cleans, freshens and works great on my hair type. I used for looking instructions and was really impressed with the lather. It bubbles up great. No squeaky feeling left once rinsed which I normally find. The bottle was a pleasant surprise with its screw top. Great little detail and shows the quality. Average Experience

I've been using the Wella Professional Ultimate Repair Shampoo for the last few weeks, and I have mixed feelings. It feels like it strengthened my hair, but it was still really frizzy and felt a little dry. The best parts I loved were that it pumped some good volume into my hair, and the shine is out-of-this-world!! I noticed the first time I used it there wasn't much lather, but every time after it made a nice, big lather! It smells so good, and I even got a few compliments from my family! I didn't love that it seemed to make my hair frizzy, and all the little hairs stuck straight up! I had to use another product to smooth it out. Experience with the Wella Ultimate Repair line

I have very fine and straight hair, which I started coloring when I was 15. When I was 20, I had my hair permed, but at most once a year. When I was 40, I started to style my hair with a curling iron and used a lot of volumizing hairspray. This made my hair look thicker and fuller and I always had a neat hairstyle.All the hairspray made my hair quite sticky and I combed it with a detangling brush every time.Now I came home after an 8-day cruise and as I hadn't washed my hair during this time, it was very sticky.With my normal shampoo "Fructis Schadenlöscher" they were still sticky even after 4 washes.Now I have washed my hair once with the Ultimate Repair shampoo from Wella and the stickiness was almost gone. Then I applied the conditioner and rinsed it out.I then sprayed the Miracle Hair Rescue into towel-dried hair and combed it through with the detangling brush. I then sprayed the Protective Leaf-In and blow-dried the hair. It now feels smooth and strong. The only downside so far: the waves from my perm are no longer visible.Once I've slept on it, my hair looks greasy and stringy and doesn't shine. I feel the urgent need to wash it.But first I'm going to try to add volume to my hair with the Glem Vital volumizing mousse from Schwarzkopf and then style my hair as usual with the curling iron and the volumizing hairsprays.The hairstyle wasn't as airy and voluminous as usual, but the result wasn't too bad. However, after an hour the hairstyle fell apart completely.Conclusion:The Wella Ultimate Repair line is not suitable for my hair.

Having hit my mid 30s I started noticing that some of my hair was thinning. I usually have really thick and pretty curly hair, but lately it's been thinning. Tried this out and generally I think it helped repair my hair some where it's not as thin, but it's not as noticeable as I would like. The product lathers up great and cleans my hair really well (significantly better than the bargain brand I typically use). I don't need much to get a full clean, and my wife says she enjoys the product as well. The smell is nice but not overpowering and generally the price is what I would expect for the product. I tried all 3 steps in the Wella Ultimate Repair product line - The Ultimate Repair Shampoo, Conditioner, and the Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue leave-in treatment and all I can say is WOW! The leave-in treatment can be used once a week or more depending on your hair care needs. I started using it twice a week, now I use it once a week, but it is also amazing for detangling! The Ultimate Repair Shampoo is not bad. It lathers up well and has a light scent. I was hoping for more with this product. The size is unusually small for a shampoo 8.4 oz. The shampoo is not thick but very runny. Its easy to use a lot. For me, I like thick shampoos and a larger size considering many cost a bundle. After washing my hair it was easy to comb through and was very soft. I think the shampoo is OK for general cleansing but I wasn't really impressed. My hair is already healthy and I have no issues with damage. I have a short haircut and my hair is naturally curly unless I straighten it. I have used this Wella Ultimate Repair Shampoo several times now and I feel like it's just ok. The bottle itself is smaller, but I do like the insert that controls the amount that you pour out, since it's professional shampoo and more costly. I have long, fine, wavy, color treated hair that tends towards frizz. I feel like maybe l'd experience more benefits when using the shampoo with the matching conditioner and freatment. only need a nickel size amount or so to lather my scalp. It rinses cleanly and leaves my hair clean but not too squeaky or stripped. The fragrance is somewhat generic to me, but agreeable. Overall | like the product and don't have any negative opinions of it, but also don't feel overly enthusiastic about it either. Wella Professionals ULTIMATE REPAIR Shampoo has floral scent which isn't overpowering. It doesn't give too much lather but cleanse hair and scalp well. It has reduced my dandruff just with one wash. It contains AHA and Omega-9 for repairing, moisturizing and strengthening hair. I have dry long curly hair and this shampoo made my hair super smooth and nice, almost to the point of not needing conditioner. Hair feels hydrated which lasts long. My hair doesn't feel brittle anymore and my split-end has reduced, also there is less breakage. It doesn't help with keeping my curls but definitely makes hair bouncy and adds volume. This is my first time using any Wella Product. I got the ultimate shampoo and when I received it, I was blown away by how small it was for the price but that thought went away from the moment I started using the product. You don't have to use a lot of this product at all and it lathers well. A little goes a very long way and I can see this lasting longer than other shampoos that have bigger volume/quantity.
