With my comment, I just want to reassure women who used this oil, but still have stretch marks. Unfortunately, if you have a genetic predisposition, or a very large fetus, then no remedy will help you. I have both genetics and a very large fetus, so my entire stomach is covered in stretch marks. Although I have been using this product since the first months. I was fine until 7 months, but now it looks awful. And even worse from all the positive comments here, you start to think that you did something wrong. But the doctor reassured me and explained that it could not be otherwise. But I continue to use butter and oil. I hope that I am improving the situation at least by a small percentage.

I have gluten intolerance/sensitivity, but can easily handle cross contamination in food with no reactions. I have also knowingly used skin care products that contain gluten in it with zero issues. I started using it on my face and immediately felt a strong stinging sensation, which resulted in hard psoriasis in multiple locations on my face. It took over a week of sloughing it off and using a lip sleeping mask on the affected areas to get rid of the marks. I loved this body butter. It smells fanastic and makes my skin feel intensely moisturised and hydrated. I used it on my stomach, breasts, thighs and butt area twice a day! Stopped any itchyness and streatchness feel I was experiencing. Love that it is organic with no artifical fragrances. It reduces the appearance and irritation of stretch marks.My advice is read the pamphlet that comes with the box as the instructions tell you how best to spread the body butter on different parts of your body for the best effect.You really only need a tiny amount because a little goes a long way with this product. Weleda Stretch Mark Body ButterI recently had a baby and I’ve obviously had stretch marks developed.I’ve tried lots of creams to help smooth out the appearance of my skin and this has by far been the best. It is moisturising but not oily and left my skin feeling really soft whilst offering a lovely fragrance. My stretch marks haven’t disappeared but they are definitely lighter and my skin is firmer.I thought I would use it up super quickly but it’s lasting really well and still have loads left after using for a few weeksA small amount goes a long way.The body butter goes on nice and smoothly and gives good coverage.
I haven’t used any stretch mark products in the past before so the Weleda stretch mark body butter was my first experience using this type of product. I am almost 6 months postpartum after having twins and I have a large amount of stretch marks so I was keen to try the body butter. I applied the body butter daily and it was nice and gentle on my skin. It left my skin feeling soft and moisturised. I suffer from sensitive skin but had no issues using this product. I didn’t notice a huge difference in the overall appearance of my stretch marks as they are mainly attributed to my genetics. I will continue use the stretch mark body butter daily and see if I can see further results.
The Weleda Stretch Mark Body Butter is a wonderfully thick body butter, which melts into the skin as you rub it in. I love that it goes on thick and melts into your skin especially as you rub it in, I feel that it sits nicely on my skin and gives it a real nourishing moisture layer without leaving you feeling greasy or oily. It smells nice, a little strong in the jar but on skin is not overly fragrant. It helps with that itchy feeling when the skin is stretching and returning post-partum which I really loved as I get super itchy.I love that it is in a glass jar, being much more sustainable for the environment. Also natural and vegan which is fab.
