One side remained compressed despite being unfurled for 3 days. Took it back to BCF Busselton and was told to blow in extra air. Bought a blower and forced in air. The skin of the mattress inflated like a balloon but the interior material on one side remained compressed even after 3 more days. Took it back and was told that sometimes it takes a few uses to fully inflate - no offer to replace. Inflated and deflated a few times over a couple of days but mattress was still compressed on one side. Thoroughly fed up, I took it back and demanded a replacement. Fortunately new staff members were very accommodating and gave me a new one. The replacement inflated completely and is comfortable to lie on.

I got this mattress about 4 years ago and it has held up well, it his hard wearing and comfortable. However, there are some issues Iāve had with it. It takes up a lot of space in the boot (about as much as a rolled up single swag), however if you have a Ute or a trailer it will be fine. It does take some patience to roll up as the bag it comes with it pretty tight and not too strong, our bag ripped down the middle so we had to put it in a canvas doona bag. The mattress fits in a swag so if you are not using a stretcher it makes your camping experience a lot more comfortable.

Keep doing this and also push down with hands to expel more air until nearly all rolled up. I then close off the 2 side valves and expel the remaining air out the top valve, then close it.Have the straps nearby and tighten them on and the mattress should easily slide into it's bag.

I purchased this as it was presented as the evolution in camp mattresses. I liked the idea that it was self inflating/deflating and did not require an air pump. I was extremely disappointed when the mattress did not fully inflate on its own. Iām a side sleeper and could feel my hip on the ground. Deflating while rolling it up was very difficult and I couldnāt expel enough air to fit it back into the bag. I ended up using an air pump to try and deflate it more but it broke the air pump. Itās extremely bulky and heavy.
Great mattress, perfect size, super comfortable and easy to set up, money well spent. Iām 55kg and hubby is 190cm 95kg and we both slept well. I didnāt get ābounced offā like an airbed š Lost 1 star as my hubby said he needed more padding on his shoulders. (Donāt sleep on your side all night!) Also because it is HUGE when rolled up and definitely could not roll it up by myself (but thatās why a married a BIG man to do it for meš) anyway for a camping trip or overnight stays itās perfect
Not fit for purpose so I returned it. Bought this and let it inflate for 2 days as I was told to do. Itās meant to be 12cm thick yet it only got to 9cm. Should have suspected it was dodgy as when I got home noticed it wasnāt packaged in a plastic bag inside the carry bag which indicated maybe someone else had already tried it and returned it as well. so not happy on that score. So I canāt recommend this product. Maybe I just got a dud. So hereās the thing when about to buy one, check inside the carry bag and see if it looks unused ie packaged properly when compared to others. Canāt fault BCF staff tho, they were very good and refunded me without issue.
I am not a regular camper so I borrowed this from a friend to try it out before buying. I was sceptical that any camping mattress could be comfortable. I am a light, restless sleeper so I did not have high hopes. And I was pleasantly surprised! I had a really good nights sleep. It was easy to inflate and deflate, it was comfortable and large enough to roll over without feeling like you are going to fall off the edge. I don't have other camping mattresses to compare to but based on my main criteria of being comfortable, this suited me very well. For refence I am a 55kg female. My rather larger husband has not slept on it yet, and it will be interesting to see if he has the same experience - maybe the extra weight will make a difference.
Advertised as 12CM inflated the ends are just over 10cms & the sides just over 8cms after 48hrs with open valves per instructions. Inflation so soft the 20Kg dog sinks to the floor for a 185cm 95Kg male this simply isn't going to do the job. The soft top is so wrinkled and stiff in places it prevents full inflation & is too uncomfortable to lie on - not fit for purpose in my view. Look elsewhere. Shoulder shrugg as to a possible solution when discussed in store with team member.
