I put these on my Giant Reign SL. Cutting them to length was easy. I drilled additional holes in the middle groove every handspan to aid in sealant transfer. Seating the bead for the tire is definitely harder than without a liner, but it's worth the hassle to keep the tire and rim safe while running lower front pressures for enhanced cornering grip. The liners are soo light, I really can't tell they're there at all, save for that lower pressures don't feel as low. I purposely cut them a little tight as I expect them to stretch a little over time, which I'm sure didn't help with seating. As to the noise, they are silent.

Bought these for my 29 x 3.0 tyres, and they fit with ample length left, making them the only inserts available for my tyre size! Lucky, as these are fantastic. They go in easily, the tyre comes off relatively easily, and they have already proven their abilities around a sodden Penmachno, where I didn't hear a single rim impact. They do change the sound of the tyres in a strange way, and give a hard to describe 'planted' feel, where it's as if the wheels track the ground better.
Easier than I thought to fit and protects my wheel rim and sanity on Scottish water bar filled descents. Only fitted to my rear tyre at the moment but would be tempted to put one in the front too!
Very expensive. Apparently it looks good quality and it really is a mouse that is sure to safeguard the tire. In the product catalog they guarantee to be able to lower by doing DH 1h without pressure on the wheel, after that life ends ... I regret to say that I am not going to check it. It is necessary to guarantee that the mouse foam does not absorb the tubeless liquid ...
I got this after getting a my first pinch flat after a year of riding. I was a little paranoid, so I was running higher pressure (26psi) for my weight (135lbs). I was also checking my tire regularly after every run.After my last run, I ended up with a small pinch flat. Maybe it's coincidence, but my tire lasted only a day with this insert. Because the insert takes up so much volume the air volume in the tire is much smaller. So even a single burp can drastically reduce the pressure of your tire. Regardless of how it happened the insert didn't protect my tire from a pinch flat.
I picked one of these up and installed it in the rear wheel of my hardtail. I usually run 25 PSI in my rear. I inflated to just over 20 psi with the insert installed and went for a test ride on a rocky trail. Within a mile of descending, I?d bottomed out and destroyed my rim. I don?t understand all the reviews gushing about running 10 or 15 PSI, as the liner didn?t do anything to save my rim even at a reasonably normal pressure.I know a lot of people swear by these, but it just flat out didn?t work for me.
I purchased the Vittoria Air-Liner Inserts as I was changing to tubeless tyres. The air liners were easy to install and give me extra peace of mind knowing my rims are more protected. I would recommend.
The product is excellent.It is super light and the foam is firm enough to provide enough protection from all but the biggest hits.Not as tough as Cush Core, but much much lighter. So unless you're a purely gravity rider, this is in my opinion a better option.
