This product was recommended to me by my doctor to help my immune system. I used to get a cold every other month. Since using this daily I hardly ever catch a cold. I have also been using with zinc and other vitamins to boost immune system so it is difficult to tell how this would have worked if I was using this only. Either way I am happy with this product and continue to use it!

I’ll start by discussing the actual bottle. It is very easy to open. So if you’re like me and have arthritis in the hands, the bottle is great and easy to open. The pills are in gel caps so they are very easy to swallow and they do NOT start to dissolve quickly in your mouth, leaving a bad taste. I felt that these worked very well, as I need to take extra vitamin D since I’m slightly deficient. I felt good and energized, which tells me they are working just as they should. I would definitely recommend this product.

I believe this brand was the most trustworthy or close to it brand of supplements. The vitamin d3 was particularly effective. However this last order I had a serious allergic reaction and the capsules tasted different in the mouth so they clearly changed something. I usually only react to things many people react to so watch out.

Since my daughter has been diagnosed with Celiac Disease, we have been careful to check to make sure everything she consumes is gluten free. Her doctor has suggested that she needs daily Vitamin D supplements so she has been on them for quite a while. She is very sensitive to cross contamination and seems to be doing well since switching to this brand of Vitamin D capsules. These pills are capsules (I guess that’s in the name – Encapsulation) rather than gummy type pills, like other Vitamin D supplements she has had in the past. And they are as easy for her to swallow as the other shape pills. I would get these again if the cost was comparable to other gluten free Vitamin D supplements. The cost is really the only negative.
I've been taking this product for years because my doctor discovered a deficiency. It does the job verified by blood work. This product is higher quality and consistent, which I believe other brands are not. I take 1000 IU now which is very much lower than the 10,000 IU that I was started on.
My doctor recommended a Vitamin D3 supplement and advised me to pay more if necessary for one that had very little of other unnecessary ingredients. Pure was one of the products he asked me to look into. I am so happy I found this supplement. At 10,000 IU, it meets my minimum requirements plus the only other additives are plant fiber and vegetarian cellulose. Other brands have ingredients such as oils, animal based gelatin, glycerin, etc.
The Pure encapsulations Vitamin D3 was a good change from my usual D3. It comes in 10,000 IU, which is my daily dose, so I just need one daily. It's packed in a small capsule, approximately 1/2 inch. Quantity is 120. D3 is an extremely beneficial supplement... helps with supporting the musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system, neurocognitive, cellular and immune health. I take it predominantly for the immune system benefits. The Pure encapsulations is gluten free, non GMO, and hypoallergenic. I definitely recommend these.
"Premium" gets thrown around lightly in a lot of product advertisements, but supplements from Pure are the real deal. High quality ingredients (for example, no junk/fillers) backed by verifiable science and a good company that's been in business reputably for 30+ years. This particular bottle is a high dose, probably best for bringing up clinically low levels of Vitamin D or if you choose to supplement just a couple times a week. It may not be best for most daily maintenance. There are other Pure Encapsulations Vitamin D dosages, and you cannot go wrong with this brand.
These pills are tiny, so they are easy to swallow. I've taken them with food, and they don't cause me any nausea like some larger pills do. Of course, this is a product where I do not know the effectiveness immediately, but I must say my biggest take away is how easy the pills are to swallow (literally).
My Vitamin D levels have always been in a "Normal" range but in the low "Normal" on a scale of 30-100 I was always a 32 or 34. I have been taking this specific product as directed by my Dr and recently had lab work done with my level now at 47. That's the highest it's ever been! I can't give any direct health benefits as others have said because I am taking other supplements but this truly has helped my vitamin D levels in a short period of time-almost 3 months now. Being a red head it's hard to get a lot of natural vitamin D because of fear of a burn. I would definitely suggest this product to anyone who is having trouble gaining some ground with vit D.
