vidaXL - Garden Storage Box - Anthracite - 149x99x93 cm

It’s terrible. Not easy to assemble. Not plastic as as advertised. Not sturdy as advertised. Easily warps. Flimsy thin metal plates. Wayfair refunded my money.

1 Star

this product was time consuming to put together but it wasn't hard, but it is very weak and flimsy . I thought once it was together it would be sturdier but Nooooo it is now a large flimsy metal box, lets see if it makes it through its first storm!!

Love The Box.

I have been using this box for a year and a half for my patio cushions and it does a wonderful job at containing them. It could certainly be a bit nicer with a more rigid frame for the lid and maybe even a gas shock or something to hold the lid open while in use/partial open.

Medium quality

Well, don't know how to rate this storage box. Only let me upload 4 pics, nut have about5 or 6 more, showing peeling and scratches. If you want or need a very nice looking storage box, this is not for you. Some holes did not line up and some holes were drilled to big for the screw to go in the hole. Luckily, I have a nice selection of screws to get the job done. I don't have the best vision, but the directions were very poor quality. I was lucky, I got all the parts, which made assembly a lot easier. Separate all your parts first to make sure you can complete assembly.

Packaging when delivered not the

Packaging when delivered not the best, lot of pieces scratched very sharp edges gloves were included quite flimsy not quite sure it's waterproof. Cannot tighten screws to tight or they just spin. Managed to put together added extra support in places to give it some strength not sure I would buy another not at that price.

Poor quality

Bought this instead of something plastic, preferring something metal & substantial, turns out the metal is poor & flimsy. Some corners of the sheet metal were bent on arrival. Dog only walked across the base, which dinted it. Description said it could be used as a tool box, but I think its far too thin & flimsy. As we are only using it to store cushions for our garden furniture and it will be under cover & out of sight, it will probably be adequate. I cant say whether it will be weatherproof or not, but doubt it.

Product arrived flat packed. Holes

Product arrived flat packed. Holes didn’t line up in the base plates, which wasn’t great and we had to cut off some tabs to make it fit. Eventually managed to get the sides on but the metal plates didn’t over lap properly so not sure it will be water tight. Lid plates are dented and scratched Now it’s built it is sturdy but the lid could do with a strengthened bar as it’s flimsy Coming from someone who is an IKEA pro this was hard work and not great quality PS make sure you wear the gloves the metal edges are like razors!!

Very sharp edges, sheet metal assembly.

Be very careful with your purchase of this item. It comes requiring assembly and it is made of sheet metal. The edges of the bin are extremely sharp and the assembly is very hazardous. If you are thinking of storing things in the bin that are at all damaged by sharp metal edges, I would definitely use another box.

could be better

Not the easiest of things to assemble. I have been assembling flat pack items for many years but this tested my brain cells somewhat. A bit flimsy as well when finished. The green panels were coated in some kind of plastic stick on adhesive and they were found to be badly scratched when unpacked meaning some hours to get the panels looking better.
