This is my second one of these chargers - I have a 15A one too. For basic charger functionality they are fine. Good build quality. They work reliably and keep cool all the time. Their weak point is that in order to have full control you need to use their smart phone app, and that's too badly written to work. It insists on doing the Bluetooth pairing itself, rather than leaving it to the OS as it should, and then says it can't see the device to pair with it. Two chargers - both fully visible to the OS and pair-able, but the Victron App insists it can't see them. If you pair via the OS the App refuses to talk to them. Incompetent programming at its most irritating.

This is the second Blue Smart charger I have purchased. It charges the lead-acid/gel/AGM batteries safely and will not harm the electronics of your car. The charger is intelligent and has multiple charging stages. These chargers do everything the other well known Swedish brand of chargers do, but adds the Bluetooth connectivity. This enables me to monitor the charging process without having to go to the charger every time. I highly recommend this product!

Highly recommended for secondary vehicles where you can easily and remotely look at the battery status.One issue was when first connecting to the device caused a required update, and after more than an hour of multiple failed attempts it finally worked again. If the support could update the devices before shipping so the customers do not have to run into mischief, that would greatly help.

A quality battery charger from a quality manufacturer offers precise control over the charging of expensive lithium batteries. Via Blue-tooth I can follow charging progress and health of any battery type. It equals far more expensive units but is gentle on my batteries for being a 5 amp unit (no overheating or frying) but still gets to float in just a few hours (from near flat Thumper AGM). As good as it gets! .

Excellent service once again from Live Stainable. The charger is a quality product but I found the Lithium function to be a disappointment. Although the recommended battery size shown on the spec. sheet is in the range 20-50 Ah, this does not seem to apply to LifePo4 batteries - battles to get past the Absorption stage at the higher amps. To put it into perspective, I subsequently purchased a dedicated Lithium charger (also 5 Ah - but not a Victron product) which successfully charged a Hubble 100 Ah drop-in battery. Admittedly took a while but completed the various charging stages without any issues.
