Veet Sensitive Skin Wax Strips 40 Pack

This girl grows HAIR, so I was really looking forward to trying these and comparing them to my usual basic Veet Wax Strips. This is what I noted: Powerful wax - I really did notice a difference using these compared to my regular wax strips! The wax held a strong grip and did a great job of pulling hair out. Plus, my legs were left looking very smooth. Good option for sensitive skin - I don't have sensitive skin, however, I did notice that these were considerably more gentle than the original Veet Wax Strips. They didn't leave any stinging sensation, and redness was very minimal. Good value for use: I tried reusing the strips to see if the wax would adhere well more than once and it did! It was very convenient that you just peel the wax strips and use, no heating or preparation required. The wax had a nice odour which wasn't overpowering but made it a nice experience to get small whiffs of it. The strips were possibly a little long for the area I used so that made it a little awkward to put in position, though I feel I would quickly adjust to this next time, or possibly even try cutting a strip in half before peeling open for small areas to allow more accuracy (such as under eyebrows and lip area). I am 69 years old and have never waxed by legs in my life! On a whim, I bought the sensitive gel strips and tried them today. I cannot begin to tell you how easy they were to use and what fantastic results were achieved. I am still stunned. I thought it would hurt pulling them off, but no, no pain whatsoever and my legs look great. Economical too as I only used two strips (which split into four) one for each leg. I am a believer! I will definitely be using the gel strips from now on, no more shaving and razor cuts! Thank you Veet.

I just tried out the Veet Easy-Gel Legs Wax Strips for the first time (sent complimentary from Influenster and Veet, thank you!) and unfortunately they are just not the hair removal product for me. I love Veet as a brand (they are the No. 1 Hair Removal brand in Australia after all) but this product really missed the mark. The packaging says that it is for normal skin, but also suitable for sensitive skin, so I was sure to follow the packaging precautions and only did a test strip on each leg. Unfortunately, despite ripping the wax strip off in the direction of the hair growth as quickly as possible, there was still a large amount of wax residue left, and going over the top with the strip again only irritated the area. Unfortunately, despite ripping the wax strip off in the direction of the hair growth as quickly as possible, there was still a large amount of wax residue left, and going over the top with the strip again only irritated the area. The perfect finish wipes included are a nice touch, however made everything feel greasy and oily. It’s about two hours post wax now and my skin where I applied the product is strawberried. Very disappointed as I really wanted this to work, but I’m glad that I used foresight to just do a small section first.

One strip pulled apart turns into 2 equally loaded wax strips. Little wastage in packaging & they are gently scented without been pot off by some overpowering smell. Apply to the top lip for example, rub over & just pull off in the opposite direction of the hair growth. As with the Veet Straps these can be cut smaller to get to other areas of concern. Simply wipe over with a cream containing some form of oil or Shea butter & your ready to go. Only beca its usually your face youll use these for, I recommend using after a shower when your skin is softer & at night. Leaving your skin breath after hair removal will help avoid getting irritation, blocked hair ducts & pores. My skin is sensitive to waxes but these have always been a go to. This product was gifted to me by Veet but I buy Veet products & stand by them. If you just cant bring yourself to wax Veet have a great hair removal cream. I tried to reuse a strip but after one use it had little to no stick. I found the best way to use it was to warm it up between my hands and make sure I use my hand to fully ensure the whole product is laid flat on your leg and wait a decent time before pulling. I found it’s important to be quick and rip it fast. I did find using it over the knees very difficult. Mainly because the product needs to lay flat and get the knees aren’t so flat that it feel securely on. So, ultimately not picking up as much as it otherwise would in other areas. The one thing I’ll note is that it requires you to go over the same spot a couple of time.
