USA Pan Loaf Pan 22cm

You know how a recipe says loosen the edges with a knife then invert the loaf… not so in this case! So easy (l lighted greased it). And clean up? There’s no clean up. I thought the corrugated texture would be tedious to wash but it’s a non-issue. The envelope design is unique and playful!

I bought this loaf pan having previously purchased other USA Pan products, and have found it to be of the same excellent quality. SO easy to clean, nothing sticks to it. Very solid and durable construction, more like what you would expect from commercial cookware than domestic. Good size. The silver colour means that browning is slower, so your loaf doesn't burn on the outside before the centre is cooked, as can happen with black nonstick coatings. I also love that USA Pan products are actually manufactured in the US, I love being able to support quality manufacturers that are not in China.

81/2 x 41/2, the right

81/2 x 41/2, the right size for most 500g flour recipes and surprising hard to find (e.g. see Amazon). Having made half a dozen loaves, bread sill just falls out by turning tin upside down. The right weight too; heavy enough not to buckle but thin enough to transfer heat for spring.

Best basic loaf pan I can find

These pans work perfectly for the basic wholegrain slicing bread I make every week. Baking time is normal, as compared to my old lightweight steel pans. The surface is coated with a light silicone, which allows for easy release of the loaves, no tools needed. I'm somewhat less enthusiastic about the "aluminized" feature.

Excellent Quality

Replacements for cheaper tins which lasted only for a year. The weight and feel of these shouts quality. Only used once so far the results were very encouraging. The rise of the loaves and the crust was perfect. Only a gentle tap was needed to remove from the tins.The only thing which concerns me slightly is that moisture remains trapped in the seams after washing, I guess careful drying is required to maintain the tins in peak condition. Maybe place in a warm oven for a short time after washing would be the way forward.Delivery was quick and efficient.Thank you to all at BakeryrBits.

Excellent loaf pan for breads

The pan works well for breads, they rise a but higher due to the slightly smaller dimensions. The bread did not stick to the pan, and the pan was easy to clean. I did still use a bit of pam on the corners though. Didn’t want to take the chance. But these are high quality pans.

Excellent tins

This is my second bread tin of this type. They are sturdy and the bread just drops out leaving them almost clean enough to return to the cupboard. I’ve never had a problem and always use these for my bread.

Mixed feelings...

This loaf pan is a standard size and everything I've baked using this pan has come out great. It's non-stick as long as you use butter or oil. The one thing I do not like about this pan is that it is extremely difficult to clean the crumbs from the crevices in the corner. It's not a great design. Even after soaking, there's still always leftover food stuck in the corners. It makes more sense to buy something that has a smooth finish in the interior instead of grooves.

The best pans ever!

My Mom first introduced me to USA Pan a few years ago by giving me a muffin pan. It is so much better than any other muffin pan I had ever owned. I never have to scrape gunk off or use liners; the muffins just fall right out! Since then, I have added the mini muffin pan and 2 different sizes of cookie/baking sheets to my collection and I greatly enjoy them all! I should add, I do often still spray the muffin pan with PAM or whatever, but it does seem to work fine without it, too. My baking sheet I don't spray with anything and haven't had any issues.

I have not bought the 8-inch round cake pan because, as usual, it is not available in store in the Round Rock, TX location. This is such a ridiculous thing since 8-inch cake pans are the most used for cake recipes (at least the hundreds I have reviewed and/or made) that it is unbelievable that it is not available...nor is it available at the next nearest BB&B location. I am sad that this is a most frequent situation with the Round Rock store. By the way, I have several other USA pans and they are very good products. I would recommend the USA products, unfortunately, I can't recommend the cake pans because I can't buy them.
