UPPAbaby V2 Performance Rainshield For (VISTA and Cruz)

Much better than the old rain cover where the straps had to be tied/velcroed to the frame. Much better quality and better than the older version at protecting against the rain. Really pleased with the purchase.

Good rain cover

This is much better than the original cover that comes with the pram. I really like the zip which is very practical and easy rather than taking the whole cover down. I just wish they would make it longer at the front.

Great product. Only flaw is

Great product. Only flaw is that it doesn’t go around the bottom enough, especially when the Uppababy seat fleece liner is on. It would be great if it was a couple of inches longer

Great quality

After suffering with the rainshield that came with the stroller, this was a Godsend. The original one was all plastic which made it fiddly and it tore easily from loads of usage (we're in the south West and it rains almost every week). This version is sturdy and easy to keep on. The zip addition means that I can easily put my toddler into the stroller while it's still secured with the Velcro tabs. Also because its one piece of plastic in front of my toddler it means less power struggles because he was constantly opening the old flap during torrential rains which defeated the purpose of the shield. For what you're getting its worth it, but I obviously wish this was the version that came with the stroller initially.

Great raincover

This is way better than the original cover that came with the buggy, great coverage and easy access to baby! Delighted with it!

Horrible condition

Ordered this as a baby shower gift and was beyond disappointed. Packaging is all ripped and bent and broken. Doesn’t appear to be shipping related either. While the product appears fine, very upset presenting this as a gift.

Better quality then the one included with the stroller. A must buy if you use the stroller frequently in the rain or snow

Much more practical rain cover

We bought this after the standard issue rain over that comes with the pram had torn. This cover is much more practical, easier to use (and dry!) and makes getting baby in and out with the cover on much smoother, meaning everything else isn’t getting wet while you’re trying to get them buckled in!

This should be the standard rain cover

The rain cover that came with the pram broke with a few days of use (came away from the binding at the edges) and wasn’t very easy to use when out and about. This one is so much better and sturdier. My only gripe is I wish that the bottom attached on with elastic rather than the velcro (like pram covers used to when I was a child) as this would make it even easier to put on the pram!

Works well for me in Seattle

I never had the original rain shield that comes with the Uppababy strollers so I do not have that to compare it to but being that I live in Seattle, I felt like the performance rain shield would be worth the buy for me. It fits nicely over the toddler seat even with me having a ganoosh installed and it was very easy to attach. I think the big bonus with this shield is that you do not need to remove it from the stroller in order to put babe in/out as the zipper (works well) opening is convenient. It has velcro straps to connect it near the base of the seat so wind won’t blow it away, but I feel as though it could also benefit from having another sort of attachment at the foot of the stroller too. Few things to note: stroller can still fold with shield attached (see photo), shield can only be utilized properly with sunshade extended, if fashion is a factor you - obviously this covers the top of your stroller so you don’t see the color at all. Was not a factor for us but I could see that being for some. Overall 4 stars, does what it’s supposed to as it protects babe from rain/wind but probably only worth the extra $40 spend for those who live in super windy/wet climates.
