I’ve been using a Apple usb-c to 3.5mm for quite some time, but my $500 Campfire Audio Polaris II IEM’s began to make a crackling sound. At first I thought it was my IEM’s, but THANKFULLY I narrowed down the problem to my Apple headphone adapter, what a big relief!!!!. This adapter is very well made and a little bit longer the my Apple adapter which i like, the sound quality is exactly the same too. But the main thing is there is no crackling sound whatsoever. Great product so far and I hope it will last for a long time.

I had previously purchased Samsung's headphone adapter cable because they've done away with headphone jacks on current top-tier phones and my thinking was to stick with their peripherals for compatibility sake. Their interface cable sounded great and capable of enough volume with my existing quality earbuds, but felt its design was kind of whimsical and lacking long-term robustness. So, when searching for an alternative backup adapter, I came across UGREEN's brand, which I've seen some of their other products reviewed on YouTube, and felt confident enough in their brand. Their adapter offered up to 96khz-32bit resolution with its internal DAC chip, and looked robust in build quality, so I took a chance and bought it to compare against Samsung's. I have yet to confirm the higher DAC resolution, but feel the sound is crystal clear with a max. volume level on par with Samsung's. I don't own earbuds or headphones with a microphone, thus unable to confirm that functional aspect, but did get a mfr. confirmation that the adapter is wired for both 3-pole (TRS) and 4-pole (TRRS) 3.5mm plugs, is wired to the current industry standard of CTIA microphone wiring configuration, and has a maximum audio output of 19mw, which is plenty for both of my ear monitors and $40 over-ear, enclosed Sennheisers. I'm satisfied.

This product fits perfectly into the USB-C slot and transfers to headphones a fairly decent sound quality. There isn't much audio lost while using this product. It's thickness is similar to that of a charger cord so it should be easy to keep it in great condition assuming you're not rough with it.To sum it up, it works great, inexpensive, and should last with minimum upkeep.

Do not buy the APPLE USB c to 3.5mm adapter. BUY THIS ONE INSTEAD. I bought both and the one from Apple was $3 cheaper but the max sound it produced in my car was MUCH LOWER than this cord. I think this is because the apple adapter has a thinner cord. TRUST me and get the UGREEN adapter. Thank me later!(: ENJOY!
I got this for two reasons: (1) to allow me to plug my headset into a Galaxy Tab S7, and (2) to give me a more compact dongle to use with my computer. It works fine for both purposes. You will need an adapter if your computer doesn't have a USB-C port; I got this one < so the adapter can stay connected to the cable so I don't lose it.
When I ordered my new phone it was AUX-less--no jack for my high end Etymotic earphones. Ironically my phone supports enhanced Atmos sound but require earbuds. My issue is I ride a motorcycle and prefer sound deadening earphones that kill the wind howl and fit better under a helmet.I sprung for this USB C headphone adapter and it works great. Wonderful sound and the build looks up the abuse I will dish out while on the road.
The sound is great (even though I don't hear the difference between the Ugreen adapter with a DAC and without one). However, there are two crucial things that make me eventually go for BT devices. First, the coating is too sturdy. It's very inconvenient to use it on-the-go (the thing sticks out of the pocket). Secondly, it catches interferences badly. I wouldn't buy it, given the second chance.
The 32 bit audio chip on this adapter makes up for my phone not having a 3.5mm port. When getting a USB-C adapter its important you keep don't lose out on good audio. Most adapters have a 24-bit audio chip which is a really narrow sound spectrum. There is a clear improvement using a 32bit adapter. Just because phone manufacturers are determined to get rid of the headphone jack your sound doesn't have to suffer.
For starters, I did already replace this with a used phone with jack for music. I just cant, no idea why, give me wire or nothing and charging is required. So I only used this 6 to 12 times but kept it.But! Using high res-ish Sony headphones and syncing some flac audio it did feel like a great high quality conversion. But I also Wanted it to, do with that what you willPerfect 5
This is for anyone with a phone that doesn't have a 3.5mm audio jack. For anyone who travels on an aeroplane and wants to listen to their music legally, without wifi, without bluetooth. Proper sound through a real wire and made better by the inbuilt DAC. Makes your headphone sound as good as it can get.
