Twinings Origins Tea, China Oolong, Bags - 20 bags, 1.41 oz
Oolong tea has a very long and rich history. Its origins are said to go back over 1000 years to the Baiyun region in the Fujian Province in China. Unlike black teas that are fully oxidized or green teas that undergo no oxidation, Oolong is formed through a special technique that results in the tea's partial oxidation. After withering, the tea is placed in muslin sacks and gently rolled. This bruises the leaf slightly, causing some oxidation to occur. This is repeated several times until the tea leaf turns darker green or reddish in appearance. Our Pure Oolong tea is golden in colour with a warm, toasty taste. Ingredients Fine Oolong tea expertly selected from the Fujian province, China.

This tea is well known. The quality is very good actually, and it taste good. But when I use I didn't feel obvious benefits. But the tea is delicious. And the size of a package is good but 20 tea bags is not that much for a box pf tea.

I was super excited to try Oolong Tea after a recent visit to a local tea house. I used 1 bag and let it steep for 3 minutes (as suggested). Honestly, there was barely any flavor. I checked the box to make sure I didn't get an expired item but, I confirmed it's new. The following day, I tried 2 tea bags and it tasted better.
This is how Oolong tea is met to be, mild and smooth. This is the original Chinese Oolong. Whoever thinks Bigelow Oolong tea is better must not be familiar with fine teas. If you want something harsh and acidic then Bigelow is for you.
Twinings Oolong tea is the absolute best. The flavour is wonderful. When an problem with tannin forced me to stop drinkingany of my favourite teas, I took advice from a friend and tried Oolong, naturally sticking with my favourite brand, Twinings. The colour was right, the flavour at first taste a bit light for my taste. but no allergic reaction. Since it was Oolong or nothing i thought 'second best'would have to do. In a few days I decided the delicate flavour and colour were exactly what I wanted. The only problem is the supply. I was without the tea for over a month recently and tried several other Oolong teas. Not one holds a candle ot he Twinings product.
