Tresemme Shampoo and Conditioner Set Bundle, 28 Ounce, Moisture Rich

I do not know if this particular formula was revamped but for a product I used for a number of years and absolutely loved - like would not buy another brand, I don't know what happened. It is a little less thick with its consistency and that is one of the main reasons I loved the conditioner so much. The shampoo and conditioner never left a heavy residue but the last time I used them, I ended up with a disgusting amount of dandruff the next morning. I have very thick, wavy, long hair and I have been using the same technique in order to avoid a dry, itchy scalp but after this experience I just couldn't justify swearing by the product anymore especially with how much its gone up in price for both! So my mom bought these for me some years ago and at first they were doing my hair good. But I did a deep condition with solely the moisture rich conditioner my hair journey went down hill from there. My hair was always natural at the time. Never permed it, never dyed it, straightened, blow dryed, etc… it was fresh. Well, after using those two my hair was destroyed. I was going through chemical damage and I didn’t even know that was a thing. I stopped using them after that happened, but it truly crushed my security love I was growing for my hair at the time.

I Want This to Work

Love the smell, love how easy it is to apply the conditioner, love the shine BUT my hair has been weighed down a bit more, suffered a lot of breakage since using this shampoo and conditioner, it gets tangled really easily and badly, and i noticed my hair falling out so much more than i normally do shed. i noticed thinning at my hair line and just all the hair in the shower plus the hair shed on the days in between hair wash days. maybe I’m just going through a phase right now or maybe its this shampoo and conditioner line. hard to tell. i still really like tresemme especially even more so because they’re animal cruelty-free and promote/encourage real women for success. But i’m not sure i can continue with this….

Something kept telling me to go back to Tresemme (that I once used ages ago) I decided to give this old friend a new try after all these years and let me tell you that this conditioner has been a lifesaver, now I don't know if it's my holy grail of conditioners, but I will say it is high up on that list I am in creation of.This conditioner gave life to my unruly hair, my hair that became stiff and straw-like feeling from experiences with top brands, This conditioner made my thin hair look fuller and gave my waves more body and shine, I honestly didn't think this would be so wonderful and I am thankful I decided to try it again.I know a lot of people are against DMDM hydantoin, I too am not too fond of it, but this conditioner does not have it as an ingredient, yes, other Tresemme products do, but this one here does not. however it does have Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, which I have been cautious with, but this ingredient seems to be more worrisome when used in a shampoo (which the shampoo for this does not have) So I try not to use anything with the itchy M's on my scalp.Again, I don't know yet if this is a holy grail conditioner, but I can say this is exactly what my hair needed and I am loving the outcome.Yes, I would recommend this to anyone with fine/thin wavy hair.

I used to use Dove Daily Moisture until they changed the formula and I couldn't do the smell and it didn't work as well either. The regular Tresemme was drying to my hair but this stuff is AMAZING. I've tried 40+ shampoos and conditioners the last 1.5 years and this is the winner. I love that it doesn't have coconut oil or protein, just amino acids and hyaluronic acid. It is also not super over fragranced. Just smells fresh. My coarse hair loves it. It's a little hard to lather at first but just add some water after adding shampoo and it's great. Bonus that it's now available at Sam's! Please don't change this formula!

New Formula Terrible!

I was a faithful Moisture Rich user. It was the only shampoo and conditioner that I could tolerate with my allergies that also left my color treated hair full of life and bounce. I had great hair. The new formula is TERRIBLE! My hair is lifeless, stringy, dull and oily and dry at the same time! It does not seem to rinse well and the residual fragrance is off. What a shame! I will have to discontinue. The search goes on. Too bad. I used to recommend the old formula to countless others like me. Now no more.

Shampoo great! Taped tops, not!

The shampoo is Great! Smells really good and it works on all our hair types. It lathers very well and rinses clean. Conditioner the same. Just love it.Only bad thing, but this has nothing to do with shampoo. Whoever packed my order (i had it shipped) they taped the bottle tops shut (which, i guess is a good thing), but the tape they used was the worse! Now, cant get the sticky stuff off and everytime i wash my hair, ick!!! Come on Walmart, you can use better tape than that (Target does!) We all have sensory issues, so its very annoying.
