Tresemme Keratin Smooth Shampoo 170ml

I cant remember how many bottles of shampoo and conditioner I bought when there was that crazy offer of 1+1. After a week or so of using the series, I had some itching, followed by a slight hair loss and irritations on the scalp. I though that perhaps keratin was too heavy for my fine hair. Then I heard about a lawsuit they were dealing with, regarding some of their ingredients that were considered suspicious and I just stopped using anything I had purchased from this firm.

I happen to have medium to fine porosity hair. So, finding this 🧴 shampoo has totally been a game changer and a God 🙏 send. Not to mention the fact that I have color treated hair that is damaged. It compares and holds up well to more expensive shampoos for sure in my opinion. The scent is pleasant. I love that the packaging is recyclable. The price point is affordable. So, what more could I ask for?!

AMAZING for my Long Hair!!!!

This shampoo is simply AMAZING! I have very long hair (below my bottom) and this shampoo did wonders! The shampoo has a very thick and luxurious lather that not only feels great, but also cleans your hair very well! I also use this product in conjunction with the Keratin Smooth Conditioner and I have been amazed with the results! After washing with both the Keratin Smooth Shampoo and the Keratin Smooth Conditioner, my hair was left feeling clean, soft, smooth, shiny, and smelling great! I also want to give TRESemme credit for having a product that is of such a high quality that even after a full day of working a hard manual labor job that has me sweating in the sun for 10+ hours, my hair still feels clean, soft, smooth, and my hair still even smells clean! Best shampoo I've ever used! Great for thick wavy hair that tends toward dryness

This makes my hair soft and manageable in a way that no other shampoo has thus far. It also keeps my hair looking clean for a long time. So it does both things you want which is amazing! My hair is easy to manage but also not weighed down or greasy. In fact, I have to shampoo less often. Somehow my hair changed in the last few years and it became thicker (which sounds good but it was almost impossible to care for). I considered cutting it all off but it is unwise to go to the salon during a pandemic. Most shampoos and conditioners I used seemed to make it worse. Only one keratin spray slightly reduced the issue which is how I found this shampoo. And it is so affordable. I wish I had known about this excellent product before! Best shampoo/conditioner ever!

I searched for the perfect shampoo and conditioner for years. I tried so many different ones and none seemed to work well for my hair. Tresemme became my go to because it got closer to my desired result even though it didnt completly cover all aspects i needed. That was until i tried this one. This is by far the BEST shampoo/conditioner i have found! Its perfect! It makes my hair soft and smooth and manageable witgout harsh chemicals. It contolls the frizz and softens my hair with out the oily feel or look. It doesnt dry my hair out and it leaves it soft but not to soft that it volumizes it all crazy. My hair is thick wavy curls, it develops soft pretty curls when it wants to and other times it Frizzes like crazy and is all over the place and gets dry easily with oily roots. This shampoo/conditioner covers all aspects and makes my hair perfect. To where i dont have to use a bunch of products everyday to manage it. All i have to do is use this product in the shower every night and im good to go the next day. Definately reccomend to anyone with my hair type searching for the perfect hair wash.

Great everyday shampoo

I received the TRESemme Keratin Smooth Shampoo a few weeks ago. The size of the bottle is 20 US FL OZ. The color of the shampoo is white. When i used the shampoo i felt it had a good lather. The shampoo made my hair feel clean. My hair felt soft and smooth more than normally after a few uses. One thing about the shampoo is the fragrance is very strong. I felt the fragrance smelled alot like lotion. And the fragrance lasted all day. My hair still smelled of the fragrance more than 8 hours after use. This shampoo i feel would be good to use everyday.

Made Scalp Itch! Kept me up at night- itch.

I have never had this happen with a shampoo before. I wanted something that would help with the frizz, but not be too heavy. I have a somewhat oily scalp so I also need a good, gentle clean. I shampooed my hair the first time with this shampoo and my hair was decent, but my scalp began to itch. It was irritating because it was a constant, mild itch. 2 days later I shampooed with one of my previous shampoos and I was fine. The next shampoo day I tried this a 2nd time. I followed up with a great conditioner I always use. And, by the evening, I was a bit miserable. I was laying awake in bed trying to massage my scalp because it itched all over. Ugh! I can't tell you why... it if was an allergic reaction or if something dried my scalp out.

My hair is literally falling out

I started using this TRESemme Keratin Smooth shampoo and conditioner a few months ago. At first, I really enjoyed it and thought that it was a great product. However, as time went on, I noticed that I was losing a significant amount of hair unlike ever before. I didn't even think that it could be caused by my shampoo and I continued using it daily. I attributed the hair loss to stress from working a lot of hours while also doing coursework. However, the hair loss only got progressively worse and I knew that something was seriously wrong. This was definitely far more than just simple stress-induced hair loss. My golden retrievers don't even shed this much. Finally, I decided to go back to my old shampoo and conditioner to see if that would make any difference. They have clearly proven that they are not a trustworthy company and they do not produce products that are safe for human use. If you are reading this review and have also experienced hair loss after using this product, know that you are not alone and that there is nothing wrong with you. Shame on you, TRESemme. You are a disgrace.

Never got rid of so much frizz!!

This shampoo lathered very well and I feel like it cleans the hair well. It seems like a little goes a long way and it washes out without leaving a feeling of residue on the hair. Whatever is in this shampoo/conditioner (not sure which ultimately did the job since I used them together) is magic because my hair has 10% of the frizz it normally has when blowing it out. Before I blew it out, my hair looked like the same frizzy mess, but let me tell you....normally when I use my hot air brush, my hair literally goes back to frizzy a few hours later. Not the case with this. It felt smoother, softer and looked shinier. I was pretty bummed to see that it contains both sulfates and silicones though. Wish it didn’t. Use with caution!!!

I bought this product because I've been trying to grow my natural hair for over a year now. I was attracted by the price and the idea that Tresemme's keratin infused shampoo and conditioner system would strengthen and smooth my hair --well, it did the exact opposite! After about a month of using (I wash my hair about twice a week), I can tell you my hair had become incredibly dry and very, very brittle. I was shedding hairs like crazy, it wasn't falling out in clumps or anything but any time I tried to run my fingers through the amount that came out in my hand was rather alarming. Especially in the shower. And the tangles!
