Traxxas 1/18 TRX-4M Land Rover Defender Rc Rock Crawler (Silver)
Traxxas brings a new way to experience all the fun and scale realism of the TRX-4 in a 1/18 platform with the TRX-4M Land Rover Defender. This truck bridges the gap between the small-scale crawler scene and 1/10 scale quality. It features a highly detailed ABS hard body, officially licensed by Land Rover, that uses an innovative clipless mounting system. This means no tiny pins to lose; the body releases in just seconds. Its compact size makes it ideal for fun on the go, turning any space into an instant trail. It's small enough for indoor courses but built with true outdoor capability to tackle rocks, grass, and streams. The TRX-4M performs like a full-size crawler because it's built like one. A rigid steel C-channel ladder frame virtually eliminates flex, while a sophisticated 4-link suspension and smooth, oil-filled GTM shocks keep the wheels planted. An impressive 45° steering angle gives it a very tight turning radius for navigating small spaces, driven by a powerful 2065T metal-gear servo. The all-in-one ECM-2.5 Electronic Control Module features three drive profiles (Sport, Trail, and Crawl) and waterproof electronics for all-weather adventures. This ready-to-run package includes a 2-cell 750mAh LiPo battery for over an hour of runtime and a 2-amp USB-C fast charger.

Very capable right out of the box, solid build quality, blue is slightly darker than in pic's online which is a nice surprise, pair with the pro light kit looks epic!
The Traxxas TRX4M Defender has been a revelation for me - I have been building custom SCX24 for a couple of years and they are fairly specialised, would never think of taking one in water, sand or mud. Enter this blue beast. Traxxas got it right almost everywhere - bushings and plastic gearing will last very well and are very resilient to harsh use like getting stuck in the mud or sand and going in and out of water. THe only things I swapped straight away were the shocks for a bit more damping and smoothness and the wheels and tyres as I have many sets here from SCX24 experimentation over the years. I do recommend grabbing the crawler gears for the gearbox (Injora 40.3:1 or similar) if you want to go slow and climb better but this is a pretty good gift for kids, not ... I do recommend grabbing the crawler gears for the gearbox (Injora 40.3:1 or similar) if you want to go slow and climb better but this is a pretty good gift for kids, not super fast and able to take a bit of rough use. Be wary that Traxxas implemented a proprietary battery connector here that means you will be stuck using the USB charger which so far has been fine... but I don't like having to guess where it's at in terms of storage charges etc. Fairly easy to make a charge adapter (Youtube) but as with all RC - lipo carries real risk of fire so must be carefully looked after.
Yes, This is an Amazing R/C out the box an Ready to run.
Best product for good price. Excelent quality
