I'm not sure why this brush has bad reviews, unless they have changed the product for the better since I first purchased it as I think its a great brush. Its the only brush I've used since my little boy was born 7 months ago and yes after 6 maybe 8 weeks the bristles do bend, that's to be expected though. The pull apart bit where the teat cleaner is always goes back together, I've never had any problems with it and thought its a good part of the brush. I wouldn't like to use any other brand.
If you are using any baby bottle a brush is a must to clean them properly.This really helps get into the small space of the teat to get the last residues of milk out.Not too sure why there are bad reviews as this is perfect and easy to pop in dishwasher for good clean itself. Dismantles very easy.Bristles as with any brush ever had do eventually bend but maybe after 3/6 months should be thinking of changing like would a toothbrush for hygiene reasons!! Very cheap on Boots at mo as seen elsewhere for £7.50!
This is my preferred brush for cleaning bottles. I replace it around every 2years. It does the job without scratching the surface of the bottles (which of course would leave gaps for bacteria to breed). I know in previous reviews a lot of people complain about having to take the brush apart to use the tool to clean teats constantly - I've always done bottle parts in batches so I only had to take the brush apart once, and it literally pulls apart and clicks back together. However, I also have small hands so I just use my fingers to clean bottle teats and inspect them for any damage/wear. I chuck it in the dishwasher in two for a thorough clean regularly. Personal preference but I love it.
I wouldn't recommend this product, as the bristles are too soft to scrub the bottle. I'd bought this previously in blue from boots and the bristles were really tough, for some reason this product isn't up to par. I find it hard to scrub with such soft bristles.
This bottle washer is a total nightmare. It comes in two parts, one to wash bottle, the other to get inside teet. Sounds good, but the thing does not stay together so when clipped back together, it falls off in to the water and is a pain. Dont bother with this, stick to the good old fashioned type that looks like a loo brush. I used this variety with my ffirst born 13 years ago and will be using again with this bubba. I am pleased to say I have thrown the Tommee Tippee one away to save my sanity!!!
I bought this bottle brush almost a month ago and already the bristles are flat and bent out of shape and disassembling and resembling to use the teat brush is a night mare. Will not buy again, certainly not worth the almost £5 I paid for it!
I have not bought this brush but have bought the normal tommy tipee double ended one. Absolute nightmare! The main brush works effectively but the teat brush is terrible. Its hardard to get into sippy cup teats and the glue wore down in a few weeks so now I have to hold it carefully so it does not fall out. Not sure why they do not make the wire go all the way through instead of attaching the brushes separately. I would just recommend buying a separate teat brush.
