Tojiro DP 3- Layer Paring Knife 9cm
The Tojiro Classic (formerly DP) Straight Paring Knife is used for paring, peeling, slicing, and trimming small fruits and vegetables. The Tojiro Classic series features a full-tang and 3-ply clad construction with a core of VG-10 super steel encased by two layers of highly rigid and rust resistant stainless steel. The Rockwell Hardness of 60 is hard enough to hold an edge, but easier to sharpen than super hard steel. The triple riveted traditional style Micarta handle with bolster contains heft and balance and the closed bolster collar allows for full and complete sharpening of the blade. The thin blades, feature a razor sharp edge that is hand-honed and sharpened by skilled craftsmen in Japan.

An unsuspecting son in law picked it up and said ….. wow! This knife is very sharp but functional on first blush. Immediately I knew there would be no covtive dissonance on this purchase.Personally, best paring knife I have ever bought. What a kitchen tool.

Love, love, love this little knife. Feels good in my hand. Does the job perfectly. Highly recommend. I used it at a friend’s party. I asked where she got it said it was a wedding present, hunted it down. Brought one for myself and an another for a Christmas present.

A fantastic little knife that makes quick work of smaller kitchen tasks. Just do not get a finger on your free hand in the way of the blade! The balance and overall weight are perfect for what we use it for and it fits nicely and securely in the hand.
Have used it to pare and to slice vegetables. Sturdy and fits nicely in my hand. I would recommend.
This knife was sharp right out of the box and is great for quick tasks like veggies and fruit. Nice for one handed work.
Fits my hand perfectly. Great edge for cutting or peeling any veggie. The handle is very comfortable for my smaller hands. Can be used in many types of cutting or slicing and peeling.
I love Knifewear. Great service and the employees are very professional and helpful. I love that they get compensated well at the company and love paying more for the great service, ease of mind and a high quality product.Thank you so much.
I love my new knife. It is perfect in my small hand, is wicked sharp and the handle is very right in my grip. It cuts like a dream for small jobs. The blade is sharper than anything else I have ever used, except for my Tojiro DP Gyuto. I am left handed so choosing a knife with a double bevel is important.
its easy to use and easy to controll, really good for small task.. the handle is good you can controll it with precision. blade is good as well just take care and maintain its sharpness
