Brilliant piece of kit. Expensive, but decent value if you pick up in a sale. Can hold two large luggage (eg airline hold size luggage) and space for more. Dual side opening handy and brilliant locking mechanism. Looks great on our LR Discovery 5 and fairly quiet considering the size.

Bought this whilst back in the U.K. travelling with my family.I needed extra space to bring extra “stuff” back home - which is in Basel, Switzerland.The fitting team were very helpful and useful and explained how it worked.It’s is completely invisible when you are driving and fits perfectly on my estate car and doesn’t inhibit the boot door opening completely.Aesthetically it looks very good and functionally it more than doubles the boot space of an average estate car. When it first arrived I thought there was no chance this huge box was going to sit on my Kadjar but it fits perfectly. Lots of space in there for all our family stuff so the dog can have the boot back. Materials and locks are top notch, as expected from the brand. I’m seeing this as an investment because of the price, although I did wait for the sales to justify the price tag. Now I’ve just got to work out where it will live when it’s not on the car…

Bought this for our Volvo XC90 and it fits perfectly. Huge space which is exactly what we needed for going away. Easy to fit. When we bought it from the shop we had to remove the item from the box as otherwise we wouldn’t have got it in the car with the seats down. Or you could just fit it outside the shop before travelling back. We needed tools to adjust our roof bars so we did this at our own leisure at home. To be honest the box was super huge so leaving it behind at the shop helped to dispose of it!Excellent buy and trusted make do a good investment for years to come.
Bought for transporting camping gear for my ford focus. Really easy to attach to the roof bars with the standard fittings and easy to remove. The XL is a bit oversized for the Focus but it still fits just fine. Being able to access the box from both sides is really helpful when loading larger items. It came with 3 straps to hold down items, they are long enough for pretty much anything I had on my trip.It's not too noisy when loaded at 70MPH but you can defiantly tell its there when there is a crosswind.
Bought this before the summer away season. large family and a big dog it was absolutely necessary to get more storage capacity.this box is light, easy to install, and surprisingly spacious and versatile. so far so good. challenge is a stirage in the garage at height but again light enough to manoeuvre on ones own.easy to install. i do hiwever recommend getting the one key set fro thuke as makes it easier and less of a faff having bars and box on one set of keys.
We wanted to replace our old box top with a bigger one that opens both sides. When this one arrived it was actually smaller and the space was a little restricted by the 4 big clamps. However, this system is easier to fit to the car and this was easier to lift up and fix in place. It also fitted alot of our camping gear, with the car also completely full! It feels flimsy so when you fill it, it needs to be done right or it won't close (the top won't go squarely over the bottom) but this type of flexibility is to do with what it is made of and is strong! I like it.
Purchased last month and even with such a large vehicle I own, this is a gods send. We went to Scotland and put everything we need in the roof box, two dogs in the rear and one person sitting in the back and still had two seats spare.Easy to fit and surprisingly no noise in the car as aerodynamic are perfect. I recommend that you purchase the correct traveling bags as they fit perfectly .
I’ve never used a roof box before, but usually believe you get what you pay for, and where possible I’ll pay for a quality product. Bought this from Halfords Perth, and fitting service was excellent. Have since driven from Scotland to south of France and back and been really impressed with this kit. Noise is minimal but noticeable at first, but you soon forget it’s there. Was careful not to pack it with heavy articles, but the box was fairly full. Was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t affect vehicle handling at all (Ford Galaxy), and I was amazed that it barely affected the fuel consumption of the car. Found the box opening on both sides to be far more useful than I’d originally thought & recommendation this feature. I only marked it down (4 stars) for Value as it ... We have had other boxes and have never been wholly confident in the box closing mechanism that are just a key turning the lock. However this has a key and sliding catch. If the catch is not secure they key cannot be removed giving extra confidence that the box lid is locked.This is also a larger box than we have had before but it is more streamlined and it does not impact on driving or fuel economy!So glad we made the decision to purchase this roofbox over others.
