I use North Face vests and jackets for hiking, shopping, dinning and generally "Living". I live in North Face.I love the way North Face fits me. It allows for hips to be normal and not super slim. Most women aren't super thin like models.North Face also has amazing guarantees. I have had zippers fail after years of use and North Face fixes them free of charge. You just can't find service and pride in workmanship like that in most products.

Love this vest. I'm a runner and a hiker - I've so far only used it day to day around the house and to work but it keeps me warm! I run very cold so to have an extra layer that's not bulky is great. I'm looking forward to trying it on a hike. I'm 5'4, 114 lbs but because I'm a 30F bust - the store recommended a size small to me. I think an x-small would have fit but I like being able to put lots of layers underneath so the small is great. I want another one!

Purchased this for my teenage daughter as a Christmas present. The small was too big on her, had to exchange for an extra small. She's 5'2", 110lbs, petite w/an athletic build. The black is not "shiny" or metallic as it appears on the website. It does have a sheen to it. She has worn this to crew practice under a raincoat, running errands, hiking, to the snow. She likes that it keeps her warm but still allows for full movement of her arms. I have several of these vests in different colors with different warmth levels dating back to the 90"s. She was always "borrowing" them. Now I don't have to share!

Bought this for my daughter. XS is a Perfect fit! She's 15 yrs old 5'2" 125 lbs with an Athletic build. The color is beautiful and rich. She's a gymnast so has broad shoulders and muscular arms. This is perfect for her as she'd normally need an adult small to accommodate her comfortably. This is a great addition to her winter wardrobe in our mild winter weather.
Bought this vest specifically to wear under a rain jacket for trip to Iceland. Will do nicely. Not too bulky. Would not be terribly warm if worn on it's own, but under the shell it should be great for those 40 to 55 degree rainy days. Fit is a bit snug in the hips - the XS does fit, but just. It's a good length - not too long, so does not ride up when I sit. I ordered in white and was pleased that's it a nice creamy white, not a stark white.
I have literally worn this almost every single day since I got it. I am a manager of a facility which includes a warehouse so it keeps me warm but not too hot, and also looks really nice!! I also love the pockets. They are the perfect size and have really nice zippers (for example: iphone pro max effortlessly slides into pocket and can be secured with zipper). Not the greatest photo but this will show you the fit and help with sizing - I got the XS and I’m 5’ 5” / 110LBS / XS / 32DD / 23 or 00.
PERFECT. This is my 2nd Aconcagua vest. So easy to grab and go. Instant casual warmth. Also great for wind or light rain protection. The blackberry wine color is subtle but interesting. I'm 5'4"- 120 pounds. XS is perfect for this beat. For a jacket I'd need an S because I have wide pointy shoulders.

I usually wear a bulky sweater or a hoodie or even long-sleeve t-shirt under it when it's not too cold outside and they always look great together and it fits nicely. The black vest I purchased this year has a slightly different style with straight horizontal stitching vs angular stitching on last year's Aconcagua vest, but I like this one as well and it looks good too. The only thing I don't like about this one is the icky material in the pockets. Former vest were made with softer better fabric for the pockets that felt nice when you put your hands in the pockets. I hope they improve that for next ... I love this vest so much! I wasn't sure if I was a vest kind of person, but I'm really glad I gave it a chance. I tend to run really warm so I don't like wear lots of heavy clothes. This keeps me the perfect temperature when it's cold out. I don't have to take it off in the car because I get to hot. I'm 5'10 and have a d cup chest. I got a XXL, it fits great over my chest and is still a little roomy if I want to wear a sweatshirt under it. I loved it so much I bought one for my mom, she wears hers ALL the time! Great product, good quality.
The size small vest fits very well for my 5'4" frame at 127 pounds and is nice and warm. It's slightly snugger in the hips than I would have liked but not bad at all, just a little noticeable when I sit down the bottom of vest stays firm to my hips and pushes the rest up a little. I thought I would like the color more but it is slightly more yellow in the tone of the color which is not as pretty against my skin tone versus a white or a more light beige one (wish they made a light beige one) but that is specific to me. The color was advertised correctly though and the vest is very nice looking.
