This is an iconic jacket thanks to its design and a great selection of colours. 700 down fill power the jacket has means it’s a great down jacket, but not excellent (as jackets with 800 down power). One thing I dislike is we don’t know the weight of the down inside the jacket so I don’t think it’s that extra warm honestly. -10 or -15C max. Also it’s a rather cropped jacket so I am worried I will have to tuck my T-shirt’s and sweaters in which wouldn’t be comfortable. I just tried it on once and I am considering returning. I consider one size larger but I am worried it will be baggy. It’s more of a fashion jacket than practical one for Canadian winter.

Great hard-to-find down jacket. I love the styling and convenience of being able to stuff the whole jacket into its own pocket. Great for air travel from warm climates to cold climates and back. Through Nordstrom, I was able to find the right color and size that I wanted at an excellent price. This isn't always the case with others - even at North Face's own stores!

I absolutely love this jacket, it fits PERFECTLY and looks amazing. It has a slight cropped design (not too much) which looks stylish and allows me to pair it with hoodies, sweatshirts and other tops really well. The arm length also fits perfectly. The jacket keeps me really warm and feels so comfortable which is great for British weather which tends to be unpredictable. The pockets are perfectly sized and allow you to put your hands in to keep them warm if it gets too cold. The hidden hood which can be concealed and removed is one of the best features as it protects you from the rain/weather but doesn't stick out and ruin the design. The jacket's unique design is INSTANTLY recognisable and exudes style. The coat looks great. I was after this specific one from north face because it has the puffy 90's appearance with the strong logo on back & front. Although its made from down its not warm enough by itself for winter which i found a bit disappointing, im sure my previous one was warmer on its own. Kind of defeats the purpose of buying it if you still need to boost it with multiple layers. Sizes also run smaller than normal so id upgrade to XL if you fit medium/large usually
Absolutely love this jacket. I want it in multiple colors. I now own two of these, one in the blue and red men's style, and one in the women's white style. I wear this in my office and everyone asks if I'm freezing, but honestly I wear it because it's so comfortable and feels like a warm hug. It's perfect for our very mild pacific north west winters (except in the rain of course). My only complaint is that the sizing seems a bit inconsistent. I have one in a men's medium that is a little bit big on me but I like the fit. Per TNF size chart, this has the same measurements as a women's large, yet the second one I bought in a large feels a lot smaller than my men's. The arms are much shorter and shoulders a lot less broad. Still fits me but was not the slightly ... MoreAbsolutely love this jacket. I want it in multiple colors. I understand they are different fits but something to be aware of in case you're like me and sometimes prefer the men's colors offered.
Basically i just discovered this jacket and I'm so glad i did! I love it! It's very comfy, very stylish, great for chilling in and just a great overall jacket to own! The only bad thing is.. it's kinda pricey, but that's pretty much it. I totally plan to buy a couple or few more jackets over time soon! I would recommend it and no wonder it's a best seller! Such a great, wonderful jacket!
I would have liked this jacket to be good. It’s stylish with nice color schemes, has deep pockets, and is fairly warm. But the sleeves are too short (even in Large when I normally wear Medium in North Face coats), the hem is too high, and the “hood” is simply a piece of nylon that unfolds out of the collar. For that reason alone, this coat is strictly a shoulder season (Spring/Fall) coat. The hood is a nice sun protector but you’ll need a warm hat in Winter. A disappointing coat.
I brought the jacket for my son as his everyday winter jacket. We live in Winnipeg, MB where the winter weather can be as low as -30 to -35 C during the day. My son walks to school and needs a well insulated jacket to keep him warm. He was very happy with his last North Face Jacket. We returned the Nuptse jacket because my son found the length of the jacket was too short. Other than the jacket length there were no other concerns.
I had been debating to buy this jacket for almost a year and was afraid to spend the money but I finally did and I am so glad that I did, the quality is amazing and the jacket is actually so warm. I live in Chicago and I can wear it with just a t-shirt under and feel warm. This looks so cute with a hoodie underneath for a streetwear look. The length is so good. I hate jackets that cover your butt but most cropped jackets aren't practical for everyday use because they are too short and look awkward with clothes under. I am 5' 9'' and this sits right above my hips. the logo is nice and big and makes the jacket pop (: I usually am a medium but I got a size small so it wouldn't be too bulky and it fits perfect. Hello,Today I received my North Face Jacket. I honestly have mixed feelings right now. I thought that by ordering from a worldwide known company like ASOS, I would have the best service possible. As a responsible customer, I checked the size guide under the jacket but as I see now it was false! The model wearing the jacket was 1.70cm while I am 1.54cm and the same size of the jacket sits lower at her waist and higher at mine. That’s not even good for me because as much as I like the jacket you know that it won’t be possible to wear a hoodie inside of it, or too much clothing. I have already planned a business trip for the 26th of this month and I have to say I am disappointed that I won’t be able to have the jacket with me in a cold country that I am most surely ... MoreHello,Today I received my North Face Jacket.
