Decent, but not great for me

I bought a pair for myself after my wife reported liking hers. I really prefer to wear Teva sandals around the house, but since I live in Colorado, there are times I need something warmer on my feet. And most slippers don't have a real sole, an issue for me since I'm about to turn 63, have back issues and hard floors in about 1/2 of my house. These do have a "real sole" although its not nearly as ergonomic as the well worn Teva minams I otherwise wear around the house, and I find it to be a bit hard and not really padded inside. And the upper is a little snug and not super comfortable for me when I wear them with wool socks for warmth. I'm sure they are fine for others. But for me the comfort level is just not as high as I was hoping for. I admit I am quite finicky ... MoreI bought a pair for myself after my wife reported liking hers. Fits size wise but cushioning is awkward

I got these to put on when I need to run outside real quick. I don't wear shoes in the house and didn't want to have to put any on when I'm not actually going anywhere. I usually wear a size 5 1/2 to 6. I got these in a 6 and they fit well but are a bit awkward. They are lightweight and somewhat warm but they aren't that comfortable. I can't really explain it but I feel a bit unsteady in them. There's just something about the inside cushioning that causes me to feel like my balance if off even though typically my balance is excellent. Since I am only using them to run to the mailbox or the driveway, it's not a huge deal but worth mentioning. They also aren't very warm. Good house shoes for custom insoles

I wanted to try these out with my custom insoles; it's been pretty difficult to find shoes that 1) fit them adequately without smooshing my feet and 2) come in designs I actually want to wear. I was a little worried when I first got them--I ordered a size up than my usual (went with size 11) just to make sure they fit my inserts. They fit pretty well once I removed the included insole, but were a still bit tight, which surprised me. I'm usually able to wear my inserts with my normal size 10s, so I was shocked that at a size larger it was still that tight. I thought about returning them, but decided to try them out for a little bit around the house to make sure. They've turned into my everyday shoe. Great Slip-On for Home, Maybe Camp Slipper?
1 January 2024

Considered these for fall/winter camp shoes instead of house slippers; but turns out they work better as house slippers. Not better. Pretty great, actually. Grip well on stair risers and other home surfaces. Have worn them to do quick errands outside. The collapsible heel still holds tight if you need to pull it up over for longer treks. If they were lighter I might take them on a backpacking trip and 5-star them but for now will keep using my Exped Camp slippers and keep the Tevas for home.

Great shoes, half sizes would make them even better
20 January 2024

First started wearing these shoes around 2018, and since then have acquired 6 more pairs. I wear them every single day as they have been the best for Lyme neuropathy in my feet, arthritic hips, & bilateral sciatica in my back. I actually like that they don't have arch support. To me, they are super cute and look great with comfy pants, jeans, shorts...HOWEVER, as so many others have said, the sizing issue is really a pain (literally). The shoes definitely fit better before they switched to all-gender sizing. I'm a true women's 9.5 and have had a heck of a time getting a good fit in the last couple of years-- the 9's are too snug and crowd my toes painfully; the 10's are too big & look like clown shoes and make me trip.... 9.5 would be PERFECT. Maybe time to move on ... MoreFirst started wearing these shoes around 2018, and since then have acquired 6 more pairs. Maybe time to move on to another brand if Teva won't meet customers needs of half sizes. If half sizes become a reality, I will be a loyal customer and promoter for life!

Just what I was looking for
20 October 2023

Great comfortable option I bought mainly for wearing in the house, although would be good for short outside walks. Wanted something I could put on/take off quickly, and the fold down heel is a plus. I have developed some foot issues and appreciate the wide toe box and the removable insert that provides additional arch support while standing at the stove during meal prep. And insulated enough to keep my feet warm. CAUTION: These do run small. I usually take a Women's size 10 but had to purchase the size 11 for a good fit; will still only be able to wear thin socks with them.

Limited use shoe for too much money
5 January 2024

I gave 2 starts for the quality and materials. However, this shoe has only limited use if you need to go somewhere closeby. There is absolutely no support for the hill since the back side of the shoe made from a soft material. Yes you can wear those as a sleepers and this would be cool. But when you are trying to wear them as such, there the sole is not long enough and your hill is about to sleep off. Unless you get them a size or two larger than what you need, this shoe can only work if you need to wonder on a backyard, or swing to a convenient store. For eighty bucks - I would not recommend them. Only if you can get them at a deep discount as those have very limited use. For the reference. I have them in size 11.

Not as comfy as they seem, not as durable either.
12 September 2024

These Tevas have a unique look and get compliments often but I wouldn't recommend them for feet that require cushion. The quilted look makes them look like you'd be walking on clouds but that's not the case. The rubber outsole is rather stiff and the insole is not cushioned. Also, the midsole became unglued from the outsole too soon and I only wear them occasionally. As for fit, they are very wide, even with socks. I use mine as slippers when I'm just chilling around the house.

Sizing is off from past versions

I bought a pair of these in 2022 and I have LIVED in them since. They are the best and I love and recommend them to everyone. I recently bought a new pair in the same size 8 that were shiny and they fit a full size smaller with my heels hanging out the back. Ridiculously smaller. I tried again this time and ordered the classic reember in case it was just the shiny pair that were off, but this time they're still about .5 size small - narrower width and my toes touch the ends, but the tags say they're the same size. Slippers aren't supposed to be tight but if they're too loose, I'm for sure going to trip over them when half asleep. I measured and they're between .5"- 1" shorter or narrower than my og pair. These are men's shoes with incorrect sizing
2 February 2024

Skip these. I purchased these thinking they'd have universal sizing similar to Birkenstocks. Instead I was sent a men's shoe with only men's sizing. I ordered a full size up from my women's size and they were still too small. My guess is these are poorly sized so they tried to market them as all gender. But it resulted in a bad fit for everyone. As for function: I bought these for apres ski thinking they'd be a light packable option. They do not pack down and take almost as much room as a traditional running shoe. Plus the various fabrics are not water proof. Making these a soggy option for the mountain and for dewy camp mornings.
