This is the second post I've made about a Nokia g20 phone. I only write posts if they are really good or really bad. I have a lot of patience. I am at the end with this phone. I can't do it anymore. It's 4-5 months old now. It's the slowest most bogged up phone I've ever had. It's the only one I've ever had that calls 911 when I get frustrated when I keep pushing buttons and try to time out the screen to see if it will refresh itself. When it's bogged up it usually takes 5 minutes to correct itself. It usually happens every week to me. I'm losing my sanity with this phone. Dont buy a Nokia phone. I don't even receive customer service responses to better the customer experience. I tried to return it. No one responded. I'm never making the mistake ... MoreThis is the second post I've made about a Nokia g20 phone. I only write posts if they are really good or really bad. I have a lot of patience. I've had this phone for over a month and have finally used it as my daily phone now for about 2 weeks. Very adequate for my needs, as a long-time Android user. The only concern I have is that the phone would not turn on on 3 occasions (black screen). I have read from other users that this may be a concern; so, I'm hoping if it continues or becomes a permanent issue, Nokia will stand by their product. Otherwise, speed, storage, features, and functionality are adequate. The phone came with a standard case; however, trying to find a wallet case was a challenge though--had to order from England. Thank you.

Great phone for what I need to do with it. Very large screen, larger than my previous best LG phone, in fact the screen is larger than my spouse Apple 11 phone. LOL It got enough of what I need for the price I wanted to pay. I didn't need something that would process all sorts of data within milliseconds. I didn't need a phone that could take better pictures than most photographers. What it does is just about right for what I needed it. The only downside is that I don't have wireless charging on this new phone. Which is a downside but not a deal breaker. In fact, I'm more contempt with this phone purchase than with any of my previous phones from the past 10 years. I paid less than $200 out the door for this beautiful Nokia and at this price I can afford to upgrade to a new device every year or less (if need it). My first cell phone was a Nokia 5125 from 2001-2002. So going back to the brand does bring some nostalgia over.

Good for T-Mobile, not so good for AT&T.

This is a good phone overall especially for the low price. Lots of storage, good screens, though heavy users may find it a bit sluggish.I knew in advance that it only supported the 2.4 GHz WiFi, not the 5 GHz WiFi, and that may be a downer for many customers. It also does not support 5G networks but that's not such a big deal yet.A big problem for me has been VoLTE. With this phone the VoLTE works wonderfully with a T-Mobile reseller, but VoLTE will simply NOT work with an AT&T reseller, and I had wanted to use it for the AT&T service. It seems that even though the Nokia G20 appears on the AT&T approved list, AT&T will NOT activate VoLTE in real life unless the phone was purchased as an AT&T BRANDED PHONE. There are tons of on-line discussions about AT&T's practices in this regard, unfortunately I had not realized that. Apparently the whole world knew except for me.Nokia could have arranged special certification with AT&T for VoLTE for this model but apparently they did not.Again, it is a very good phone for T-Mobile which is not as repressed as AT&T in these matters, and you can't beat the price.

It works alright most of the time. The battery holds a good charge. And it does the basic functions most of the time. However, the rest of the time it doesn’t take very good pictures, it sometimes has seizures and decides not to work and reboots, and it’s constantly trying to log in with your thumbprint when it is nowhere near you. It randomly mutes you during phone calls because the screen will not stay off when it is up to your ear. The google assist button is far too easy to hold down when in your pocket. I’ve been on my motorbike with it in my bag and it’s constantly trying to activate itself. Imagine wearing a helmet where you’re trying to listen to music and all you hear is DING DING DING DING DING DING.In summary, it’ll get the job done. Meh phone

I bought this phone for use as a work phone via my company's BYOD program, which promotes Nokia-branded products. The primary function of this phone is running the MS Authenticator app for MFA logins and it does a good job of that. It also does well with phone calls: good signal, clear sound. However, it is very slow at loading and running apps such as MS Outlook and MS Teams. It seems like it doesn't have enough processing power to handle them. Ergonomically, it's a bit large for my hands, I prefer a smaller form factor. The fingerprint reader on the power button does not read my finger very well, so I end up having to enter a PIN more often than not. There is a button placed opposite the Power button whose only function seems to be activating the Google Assistant. ... MoreI bought this phone for use as a work phone via my company's BYOD program, which promotes Nokia-branded products. Due to its position, when I hold the phone in my left hand it is almost impossible to press the Power button/fingerprint scanner without activating the Google Assistant. I ended up disabling that button.

Overall not bad

Overall it's not a bad phone, but the cameras are not that great. They don't give beautiful colors justice. I was trying to take a picture of a purse of mine that has a certain bluish green color with a Swatch of the exact same color to send a friend of mine to show him, and neither the Swatch or the purses colors came out as they should have. They seriously looked like a totally different color. The rest of the features are okay. I wouldn't say great. I don't like how you can't swap the home button and the back button. I don't like how I can't access Samsung pass for my passwords. I get that it is not a Samsung, but it lets me access all of my Google stuff.....so.... I think Nokia and Samsung should collaborate a little just on that one feature as far as I'm ... MoreOverall it's not a bad phone, but the cameras are not that great. I'm actually a little impressed with it. A friend of mine sold it to me, and I was skeptical because it's a Nokia and that's just an old... I don't know how to put this but when I think of Nokia I think of the older versions. I had no idea Nokia came out with more up-to-date phones until my friends sold me his. I rather enjoy it sometimes. Also it's worth mentioning that we use Nokia's at my job, and as far as I know we've never had a problem with them there. But those are Nokia 5.3's I think.

I have ran both eco systems and prefer andriod and this phone. However its the sluggish moments and glitches than i find will annoy people who use their phone on a daily basis doing huge tasks on it. All in all I couldnt ask for much more from this phone, the storage space of 64gb has been very beneficial meaning I can continue to store work files on it while my other phone is getting repaired. If your tossing and turning between this and another phone in this price bracket id recommend this it also comes with three years of security updates and two years warranty I think off the top of my head.

I've had my Nokia G20 for a little over two weeks and I really like it, so far. I was very happy to see that extras were included in the box and I didn't have to worry about getting a case and screen protector before using the phone. Setup was really easy, but it did need an immediate update. I had no issues connecting to my home wifi or my existing google account. All of my apps and photos were transferred with no issue and everything downloaded quickly. I personally have over 50 apps downloaded (not including system apps) and thousands of photos and videos. There is still so much storage to be used and I haven't hesitated on adding more photos and videos to my gallery. The pictures are very clear and the video quality is amazing. Not only is the visual on the videos clear, but I couldn't believe how clear the audio was. This phone has to be plugged in to charge and will not charge wirelessly, but I prefer traditional charging anyways. The battery does take a long time to fully charge, but the battery life is definitely worth it. To test out the battery life, I downloaded games on my phone and let my son use it for 3 days. Here I am on the morning of day 4 and the battery has 4% remaining. The battery life exceeded my expectations, my phones usually have to be charged twice a day. The one thing I'm not at all fond of is swiping to go back. I'd much rather have the back button on the bottom of the screen. It's not a huge issue, but will take some time to get used to.
