This speaker both sounds amazing and looks beautiful. It really is flawlessly designed. It boasts incredible bass and clarity while still maintaining a warmth that others have mentioned. You can enjoy this at moderate volumes as well as cranked up. It definitely fills the room with this design, to which the company claims rightfully. AirPlay works perfectly on mobile devices with the Orthoplay app, however, not so much on a MacBook which is why I'll have to give this 4/5 stars. You have to utilize the line in or create a cloud playlist if you want to stream from your MacBook; hence the name: Wireless CLOUD Speaker. I will say that it is extremely cool that you can throw in a mixture of mp3 links for your cloud playlist. I will say that it is extremely cool that you can throw in a mixture of mp3 links for your cloud playlist. Though, if AirPlay works on mobile, shouldn't it work on a laptop? That bit gets me. But hopefully this will be resolved with a later OS update. Regardless, I also have this hooked up to my television through optical in which sounds amazing. I currently have a mono setup, but I personally intend to and would highly recommend buying two of these speakers for a truer stereo setup. Initial setup was tricky as the speaker didn't have the latest update installed causing issues to connect with my Netgear router. I had to setup with an AirPort Express (which Teenage Engineering had told me this speaker was made for intended use with either the Express or AirPort Extreme routers), then update the speaker (which was very easy actually, once connected), and reconfigure the speaker with my Netgear router. A little bit of a hassle, but for me, it was worth it. The only other small gripe I have is that they recommend you turning off the speaker when not in use, but there isn't an on/off switch, so you have to unplug it to do so. Overall, a fantastic speaker that, for the most part, is worth the price tag.

Usually not a fan of 5-star reviews: something could always be improved, right? In this case, 5 stars is completely justified. Packaging, unboxing, product, experience all exceptional. Lots of AirPlay speakers have spotty performance, but this box is rock solid. Construction and appearance exceeded expectation. Just buy one. Or two. Only point I'd make: the otherwise helpful LED indicator can't be switched off without unplugging the unit, which only matters in a dark bedroom when you're trying to sleep.

I love the sound, I do think I would still need to have a stereo set in order to have a more immersive experience. The sound is beautifully rendered but you do miss the spacial experience of music with this unit omitting from one side of the room. It's really pricy for what it is but I love the product nonetheless.
This is a real HiFi speaker based on the Carlsson OD-11. In fact, it is the same speaker but upgraded with useful, modern features such as Airplay. Not some soundbox that uses computational audio and psychoacoustic processing to blow up music artificially and make it sound stressed. It has enough headroom with its 100 Watt analog amp to deliver excellent sound with ease. A relaxedness that offers tremendous detail. The sound is outstandingly fantastic. One should get two though to operate a proper stereo setup. No HomePod bass on steroids, Bose thinned out nonsense. This thing has case volume and makes use of that as HiFi used to be. It doesn’t have to defy laws of physics as it has room to back it up. Excellent speaker.
What I like about these speakers is that you can put them on the floor and point them up. You can put them behind the couch or other furniture and still fill the room with sound. Everyone raves about the sound of these speakers, but when I installed them in my living room, I was a bit disappointed. The sound was not as warm as I remembered from hearing them in a store. It's great that you only have to plug the speakers into a power outlet. You don't need a separate amplifier and you can connect them to the Internet to play music. I was hoping to use them with my existing Sonos speakers by hooking up a Sonos Connect to them, but there was some latency, which created a half second delay. That may not sound like much, but that rendered the speakers useless for my ... MoreWhat I like about these speakers is that you can put them on the floor and point them up. Great product, fast despatch and good packaging. Recommended
Looks great and sounds solid. Not just a pretty looking piece of tech. Probably the best sounding pair of speakers I've owned. Also, they look great in the home which is a massive plus. A bit pricey but considering you get a build in amp, and all the modern bells and whistles you'd expect from a sound system– it's a fairly good value. PS, these are designed to bounce sound off walls/ceilings. It creates a very unique and pleasant effect. I fully expected to sell these off within a month of testing but they're sticking around for good.
The first OD-11 I took home was easy to set up and worked for an entire day before starting to have connection issues and then not working at all. Having returned the first one, the second OD-11 couldn’t be successfully set up at all and after attempting the factory reset / firmware re-install procedure and then contacting Teenage Engineering customer service, I was advised to return the product again. Expensive product with very poor quality. Very disappointing experience with Digitec overall.
I took a shot on this speaker!! I've never heard of this company before! I'am totally in to great sounding music! When in my home I had levinson and B&W loudspeakers! I hate to brag, but I have a good ear!!, and believe me this teenage od-11 blew my mind!! They are so smooth and transparent and rich sounding I fell in love with them! High's and midrange is so smooth and the lows are powerful and clean!! You have to hear a speaker this small can sound so amazing!! I truly mean it!! I now live in an apartment and this speaker system filled the void!! If you can afford one or two you won't be disappointed believe!! The sound stage is huge!! Will fill any size room with beautiful sound with ease!! Try and you'll see too!!!
