While these safety pads are good and they work well, there's no indication online of what size to buy for a child. I bought these pads for my 7yo twins, they are too big for my smaller twin and even on the taller twin, who wears a size 9, they are a bit big. I wasn't able to try before I buy as I live in regional Victoria and I'm unable to go to my nearest store, as it is in NSW and I'm not allowed to cross the border. This problem could easily be resolved if the company gave an indication of what age/weight/height the products would fit. I'd say the size small is suitable for ages 10 and up to teens and small adults. People wanting to buy for children under age 10 would be better off with the XS.

I'm a dude, 34, about 175cm tall, 79kg, somewhat muscular build. I got the large and everything fit pretty well except for the knee pads which I did manage to get on in the end, but VERY snugly. That said, my thighs are about 55cm around about an inch or two above the knee and years of trying to buy pants that actually fit tells me this is bigger than average. Probably from all the skating and snowboarding I did when I was younger. The elbow and knee pads have a stretchy lycra(?) sleeve that you put your arms/legs into and then straps that also go around to hold everything in place, so I just don't put my leg through the sleeve and only use the straps. I'm hoping that the elastic or lycra stretches a bit over time and makes them even better to wear, but I'll keep wearing them either way. Hopefully this has been more helpful than "they fit good!". Wear pads. They might not look the coolest but neither will you if you're rolling around on the floor crying like a baby because you just shattered your arm.

I received Tahwalhi safety pads on time. They look great. But- they are a Christmas present for my granddaughter who really, really wants them. She knows what pads are good and asked for them. Can’t wait to see her face when she opens them!

I bought these for rug/Carpet floored dancing in VR. They look to want to tear anything up soft, so I'm going to try the Foam kneepads and see how they do and if they can hold up from the small amount of friction my rug provides. Don't buy them if you're looking to get these for soft floor dancing, look for something else. Hard floor dancing? Get soft foam pads. Also, grown adults will find these small. But, for protection from falls, Skating, I can see these working perfectly! Nice protection, a firm outer shell and a bit of spring on contact with the ground.

I bought my 9 yr old the size s after reading online reviews about sizing from other customers, bought online picked up in store and asked to check the fit before we took it home, they were happy to oblige, so I was pretty happy with purchase. The size small fit well with room for her to grow into as well. Really happy with my shopping experience overall.
These pads in size XS fit my 8 year old son ok. He’s 134cm & 25kg. All other sizes were out of stock at the Miranda store we bought them at, otherwise we probably would’ve bought 1 or 2 sizes up but, to be fair, I only intend for him to use these for a year or so before upgrading to larger, more robust pads. He felt the Protec ones I had bought for him (from a different store) were way too bulky so we returned them in favour of these. Anyway, the pads (he mainly just wears the knee pads; he occasionally wears the elbows but never the wrist guards) have already protected him from a number of knee-down scooter stacks (he’s learning tricks) since their purchase a couple of weeks ago so we’re happy with them. It’s worth noting that these pads require shoes to be taken off to put the pads on & also to take them off. Not a big deal but the Protec ones didn’t need shoes to be taken off.
My daughter has just started to rollerskate and i was looking for good knee and elbow protection pads. I have to say these were brilliant for her to use. Not only are they really sturdy, which helps when your child is falling over, they are so easy to put on and take off quickly if need be. For the price compared to other protection pads, these are worth buying.

Bought these for my son who is learning to inline skate. The XS fits both my thin 7yo and 9yo. They can easily put them on and take them off themselves. These pad seem sturdier and stronger than the ones I bought at Decathlon (although these Tahwalhi ones were $20 more expensive). They also seem as sturdy as the $60 set the inline skate shop recommended I purchase from them. The problem with these are the quality of the elastic bands on the back of the knee pads. After 5-10 uses, they are fraying. The plastic looking wrap on the wrist guards have also starting peeling away. They are still holding up to use perfectly fine though.
