If you do not have a large area to clean, such as a small kitchen area, this will be perfect for you. if you have a larger area, you will need to change the pads out very frequently.

Useless, apart from maybe super lightweight dusting. But that can be achieved with a damp rag over a regular broom and it works better, the handle would be more stable, and is more environmentally friendly. I don't see any value added in this product, apart from bringing in $$$ to the invertors every month from people buying stupid refill that are soo messy. Disappointed. Returned the item.

I haven't owned a Swiffer for many years and thought I'd give it a try again. I first used it on a new construction bathroom with rolled vinyl flooring. There is a light texture to the vinyl and the wet cloth just didn't quite get up some of the powdery residue left behind from me having drilled some holes in drywall for the towel racks and tp holder. It also couldn't get up scuff marks left behind from my clunky black post-op shoes I'm currently wearing. I tried it again in the kitchen for a quick clean, but was left ho-hum about it as it couldn't quite remove some older dirt (sauce?) that had dried on the floor -- this is bamboo flooring. Even when I flip the divide to use the scratchy scrubby strip, it couldn't handle it. I think the best use for this would be for use immediately after cooking and maybe there are some drips and splatters on the kitchen floor. Don't let anything dry on the floor, and hopefully the smell can be drowned out by a candle or incense. Just all be aware that the wet cloths are VERY wet and drip all over, so put them on the mop in the same place you intend to clean.

I have a tiny dog who's not house trained, and she usually pees on my vinyl floor. The wet pads looked promising, because they'd allow me to clean up daily, if not more frequently. Unfortunately, the sample pads that came with the mop leave my floor sticky. And foolishly, I also bought a bulk pack of the refill pads. I'll be donating them to Goodwill. I reached out to the manufacturer about the sticky floor problem, after having read many similar complaints online. She suggested that I simply donate the unused supplies somewhere. When I told her about the unopened pack of refills, she told me that I'd need proof of purchase and info about the credit card I'd used. Although it seemed like a great product after I've made several attempts at using it, it left a lot to be desired. The handle is too flimsy, in order to really try to "scrub" the floor you need push down the mop but in doing so it felt like it was going to snap apart. Although the heavy duty pads were well hydrated in the cleaning solution and smelled nice they pads kept slipping off.....very annoying and time consuming. Unless you were planning to mop your already clean floors Cinderella like, Swiffer you have to make a much stronger and improved product and then I'd be happy to be a loyal customer. The "3"rating was for the affordability, the pleasant scent and the quality of the pads. The quality and durability and ease rates a 1.5.
"#sweepstakes" review. Swiffer Sweeper Dry and Wet is a great product, #sweepstakes or not. I am71 years old now (Arrrrggh!) and keeping up with my housekeeping takes alot out of me, especially this year.Swiffer products have made my life a little/a lot easier. The Swiffer Sweeper Dry and Wet is lightweightand easy to handle and manuver. It makes cleanups a breeze.
I bought a Swiffer Wet & Dry. I assumed it was a bad box because the poles were incorrect; they forgot to include the pole with two wide ends to attach the handle to the rest of the broom, instead there were three with one narrow end. No problem, costumer service helped me out. I went to purchase a new one and that version had the pole with two wide ends, but it is not wide enough so I cannot attach the narrow end to it. Basically I have two Swiffers and not enough correct pieces to make a complete Swiffer. Who the heck is in charge of Quality Control?
This is my first time using a swifter and all i can say is this product is amazing. Im 5'8 and its the perfect length for me to reach under my bed around my and all my furniture in my home. Its very easy to use, little to no work to change each pad. One pad cleaned half my house and it holds dust/hair/crumbs very well. The swifter handles very nicely, i didnt have any issues with it flipping over or turning the wrong way. I'm very satisfied with this product it helos ke keep my home clean.
many uses. i bought primarily to pre clean the bathroom floor, which means using it to clean up the hair and wipe off pee on the floor. once its been wiped by swiffer i go ahead and use my regular mop with bleach. this combination of swiffer and mop makes me feel like my bathroom is very disinfected. I also use my swiffer to wipe my walls and use it with microfiber cloth to clean shower walls. its a very handy tool. should be cheaper though.
First, Walmart showed a $3 " reward" for buying either this or the more expensive one ON THE DAY I ORDERED %26 PAID FOR IT - NEVER RECEIVED THIS, %26 A PREVIOUS COUPON CODE DID NOT WORK. Customer service did not help - promised that tech support woukd call me within 24 hours of fixing itDisliked the fact that this mop doesn't function well - wobbles when I try to move it. Used it %26 put it away as an expensive (because of the need for multiple replacement pads) as a waste - neither easier nor more efficient than other options. Sorry to have a negative answer.
