Did not work for me. I have an old foot injury (broken bone years ago) and since the blue part on the underside of these insoles is more rigid than the factory insole, apparently my injured foot can't bend as it usually would. My foot without the injury was perfectly fine. So, if you have two "normal" feet these will probably work for you.

This is a difficult review to write; the insoles are wonderful for the support of the heel cup and general comfort. I replaced the original insoles in my Zamberlan boots and Tiger tennis shoes. My issue with Superfeet is the huge jump in price from approximately $35.00-39.00 to $55.00 is ridiculous and unwarranted.I suggest purchasing Powerstep insoles online; they cost less money and are superior to Superfeet.

I have low arches and plantar fascitis. My doctor recommended these to me and they work very well. I no longer experience pain from my plantar fascitis that I had, before using these insoles. I tried other insole brands in the past but they either hurt my feet (universal insoles does not work for me) or were just too stiff for me to walk normally. There is a hard plastic at the bottom of this insole, which I thought would hurt my feet, but it's such a mild difference, I do not notice it. There is no break-in time needed for these. I've heard some comments that some do not like the blue superfeet insole because it hurts their feet. I think those buyers didn't check the specs of the insoles because the color is coordinated to the type of your foot arch that you have. ... MoreI have low arches and plantar fascitis. I got a pair of Jim Green African Ranger boots from South Africa which I had been eyeballing for some time. The only thing I did not like was the stock insoles because I have medium-high arches. I had a hard time finding a match because the stock insole was 2.3mm in the forefoot. It had a plastic orthotic with alomost no arch but similar to what is in Superfeet Blue.I am very happy with the Superfeet Blue in my new boots. They are very close in thickness to the stock insole but have a medium 25mm arch and 3mm forefoot cushioning. They were a big improvement over the stock insoles because I suffer from Plantar Facitis and heel spurs. I would recommend these.I bought them in store so I could compare the stockInsole and get guidance from the folks in the forward ... This timeWas no different and they helped me confirm I had a good match for wise.
Bought these for my husband, two pair actually, since they work so well. Initially bought some cheaper ones at another store which were totally useless. Was going to go to the Good Feet store, but way too expensive. These insoles have helped keep his feet comfortable at an affordable price. Highly recommend.
The overall fit and feel of these insoles are good, but they completely destroy GORE-TEX liners. I'm glad I checked my boots, because after only 45 minutes there are deep indentations where the insole was chewing at the GORE-TEX liner. I strongly recommend you try a different brand of insoles for any waterproof boots. I emailed Superfeet and was told that all of their insoles can eventually do this. I wouldn't have purchased them had I known that.
If you have flat feet and a narrow shoe, this are the insoles for you! I have been wearing them for 6 years now and replace them every 6 months or so. They have changed my life. I was bit by a dog on my knee when I was about 20 years old, and without wearing these insoles I will have constant inflammation on that knee. By wearing them, it straightens out everything and the inflammation is not longer a factor at all. Total game changer. Truly amazing how given the right arch support for your feet can change everything about how you function physically.
These are very comfortable. I’m a big guy and wear a size 14 shoe. I put these in my Vans because there is not much arch support in those shoes. They have a hard plastic bottom for durability, comfortable top pad, and still fit in your shoes without having your heel popping out. I’ve tried at least 10 other brands of insoles and I like these the best. My doctor is the person who recommended them to me.
These are perfect for running, walking, hiking as they do not take up too much volume in my shoes. I couldn't do without them. However, my physical therapist has applied posting material to the bottom of my blue Superfeet in order to correct my gait. This has worked better for me than any of the custom orthotics that I have had made at a high level medical orthopedic facility.
I bought these insoles right before a month long trip to Europe where I knew I would be doing a lot of walking and I'm so glad I did. Several months before my trip I was visiting friends in Boston and we walked ~30 miles over 3 days and I left that weekend with some sore feet. The soreness never went away even after a week or two so I spoke to my PCP and she suggested some off the shelf insoles because my arches have a tendency to collapse a bit when I walk.Perhaps unwisely, I did not give myself any time to break these in before I left for Europe. So the first few days of my trip were spent still working these to a point where I no longer could notice them when I put my shoes on. So the first few days of my trip were spent still working these to a point where I no longer could notice them when I put my shoes on. I was doing heavy walking, averaging 7-10 miles a day with some days 12 miles or more. I was pleasantly surprised after a week on the road to notice absolutely no discomfort in my heels that I had a noticed a few months prior with my regular sneaker soles.By the end of my trip I had walked ~270 miles over the course of 28 days and I am extremely happy to say that I came away from that with no pain in my feet associated with these insoles. The only soreness I did experience in my legs was muscle soreness from extensive hill climbing in Austria but that had nothing to do with these soles! The reason for docking a star is simply because my soles for some reason squeak when I walk. If I am indoors in the house, or in an otherwise quiet building, you will hear my shoes when I walk. It may be a silly reason to dock a star, but I think it's silly that my shoes squeak with every step I take. It could just be an issue that I have with the soles hitting the inside of my Nikes, who knows.. In terms of functionality, I give these 5 stars without a doubt and plan to continue using these for a long time.
