I can see this company has a lovely and extensive kit for beginners and this is an extra essentially. Looking forward to having a go with this clay but I honestly cant speak to the quality as this is all very new to me. 12 for 1kg seems reasonable. Think that it should have come with something whether it is just a card with some info or something. A bag of clay is a new one for me!!!!

This is the extra pack of air-dry clay, and so in my eyes, there really isn't much to say about it. It's the extra pack for beginners, so all that comes in it is 1kg worth of clay where a little of it can go a long way, and with some water to help keep the clay smooth, it's easy to manipulate this clay into different shapes of my choosing. On the back of the packaging are instructions and precautions that're easy enough to understand and follow about how to use and handle the clay, and it's safe to say that I'm so impressed with how well it was to use this clay that I'll definitely be looking to get more from this company in the future. Good quality air dry clay. You get 1kg bag of clay to be creative and create what ever you want.It is a good starting point if you are interested in doing pottery. The clay takes about 2 days to fully dry depending on how warm the environment is.It may seem a bit expensive but its around the same price as other clays like polymer clay.

This stuff is so good! Ready to use straight out the bag and you just need to moisten with water anytime the clay starts to feel like its drying out. Its air-dry clay so its lovely for making clay beads and for small craft projects, especially if youre new to clay and just want to get a feel for the medium. If you're new to clay, I recommend investing in some plastic sculpting tools - they are inexpensive but essential in my opinion.
I like that the bags recyclable, I still wrapped it again in clingfilm after opening packet. Made my own interpretation of a Jewelry plate, I saw online. Painted it by priming with some gesso and old acrylic paints. I added a tiny bit of either baking powder or bicarbonate of soda. Cant remember which to the acrylic paint to give it a more textured matte finish. I painted it 1-2 days after making, and it was fine.Hope that helps.
Great quality clay. The texture is quite similar to DAS, which is what I usually go for when making sculptures and figurines.The consistency here is a bit rough, but evens out nicely after a couple minutes of hard kneading. Note that without kneading, it's still fairly malleable and easy to work with, but you'll find a bunch of air gaps when it dries that won't give the finished piece a smooth look.It's also easy to manipulate with carving tools and water, and dries rock solid (fully hard after about 48 hours). I haven't had any issues with cracking. Its quite pricey for just 1 kg, however, and the quality is similar to several cheaper brands I've tried. Not something I would go out of my way to purchase at the current price ( 12 at the time of writing this review).
The clay is a great consistency. Feels a bit firm and rough at first but with some kneeding it is very maliable and smooth. Great for statues/figurines or even pots. Might take a bit of practice to achieve what you want as the texture is a little different to other clays. I think it's more appropriate for thicker projects as if you roll it on the thinner side it can easily crack. It's an okay price but would have liked a little more with it.
A kilo of this air dry clay is a great amount for any project, the quantity really is great for one session or you can reseal for multiple use as the bag is thick and resealable. The clay itself is way to mould in the hands and handle to form shapes, we decided to make one piece with all the clay in one session, creating handprints and a plaque for the wall. The fact it is air dry means it should dry easily of its own accord, and that means no mess or fuss. We used cling film over aboard when rolling out the clay to avoid contact and any sticking, and a little water to ease it into the required shapes. Overall very impressed- a great one for the kids on summer holidays coming up soon!
You get a resealable baggy with some soft clay inside so youre ready to pick a piece and go. The clay is very soft unlike other brands Ive tried in the past so I didnt feel like I was wrestling with it. The instructions on the pack are clear and I like that the bag is resealable since if I don't use all of the clay (you get a lot!) then I can store it back in the bag - though I recommend putting the bag into an airtight container for an extra level of security. I really like it and it feels great quality x

I found it much smoother to work with and there were no fibrous textures which I really liked about this clay although it is also stickier than other air dry clay Ive used.You need to make sure you cover any clay not in use to prevent it from drying out.
