I bought this for a few reasons: I didn’t want a cheap fire pit that would warp, this one is made from heavy duty steel and packs flat, which is great for my little car. I also liked how much air it would allow to flow around the fire, again a lot of the cheaper fire pits don’t allow good air flow. It also comes with two rails that lock into place and you can put a cast iron fry pan on top for cooking if you like. It’s so well designed and you can make a great fire in it. I watched the Snowy’s video about setting it up - it’s so easy. I love my fire pit! Well worth spending the money on.

Relatively easy to put together, thanks to Ben's video on Snowys. Used it when camping in wintery conditions and it kept two campers very warm at night without having to sit on top of it , we were seated more than a metre away and felt very toasty- although the red wine may have also helped.I noticed in the morning when packing up that it had burnt the grass underneath the fire pit. I like to leave a camping ground as I found it, I may experiment with putting the fire pit on a metal sheet to protect any grass, or set it up on bare dirt in the future

Loved this firepit. Easy to assemble.Simple fire that started with one match.Let the fire go down and than delicately placed supports on top and cooked dinner.HINT FOR ALL - fill the carry bag with water and it puts out fire at end of night

The included manual is next to useless if you’re assembling this item off grid for the first time - the quality of the printing and the detail shown in the photos is absolutely terrible. So forget about putting this together quickly or easily until you’ve learned the knack. However if you’re able to persevere and get it assembled without bending everything out of shape, then this is an absolutely tremendous little fire bucket that generates awesome heat.
Took a little time to put together the first time (you have to bang the fastening pin in the first time), but once you get it, you get it! I love that this uses less wood than a traditional larger pit and folds down flat in its bag for transporting. Also looks really cool at night when burning! Great product :)
Great little Fire pit, and isn't too small or too big. Love that it is an Aussie company and have recently purchased the grill and handle to complete the set up. Packs away beautifully flat in a great quality canvas carry bag. Recommend having a play at home setting it up before going bush to get your head around how to piece together.
Put this up at home, sitting on a patio chair. One person set up so easy. Had seen Ben's video so didn't bother looking at the instructions. Some reviews from others had difficulty with putting in the locking pin - no problem at all. Held it all together between my feet and slide the pin on and into place. Hubby then tried to take it apart but couldn't move the lock pin until he pressed the sides in again with his feet. Great little unit. Next review when we use it next weekend.
Worked so well while we were away in the van that we bought one for our daughter to use in her outdoor area at home. Excellent quality and so simple a design. The double bottom is excellent too at keeping ash under control. Fully recommend
What a fantastic pitLightweight , compact and easy to setup. It comes with a sturdy carry bag that seals well. The brilliant airflow allows easy lighting and due to the design is efficient in the amount of timber burnt as you can sit closer. This meant we had to carry less wood. We used it every night on our month long trip and it is still like new. The only think I didn't like was the rack for cooking that is too large for bag but I didn't buy it to cook on so it will be left home.Excellent and good value pit
Bought for my daughter as she likes to take off in her small car with a tent and very little room for much else. The flatpack nature of this is what drew me to it, literally only a couple cms deep in its bag. Quick and pretty easy to assemble, plenty heat given off to warm a small group and racks to pop the kettle/small pan over. Would also be ideal for a small courtyard or any place where you only occasionally want a firepit. Considering purchasing one for our home too as so easy to store when not in use. Brilliant purchase and delivery was actually really fast.
