I heard about this skin tint from a podcaster and decided to give it a try for a lighter, summer makeup look vs foundation every day. I love it! I really avoid being in the sun too much, and faithfully use a good spf everyday, but have still gotten some color from my daily morning walks. I bought it in shade 2 with the Shade Quiz and it seems to match OK, but I do wonder if the 2.5 or 3 would be a better match for me these sunny summer months bc I can’t imagine being a shade 1 in the winter! No pilling, no problems at all. I just love the formula! I don’t really like wearing heavy products everyday and for work I wear the Kosas foundation which is amazing, but some days I just want something light I can throw on without too much thought, I heard good things about this from certain YouTubers I follow who also have dry skin so I thought I’d give it a go. This is amazing! It’s so lightweight and adds a really nice natural glow, like my skin is hydrated. I still need to apply moisturiser beforehand (not surprised as my skin is super dry) but when I do this glides on and blends out so nicely! It has the perfect amount of coverage for the every day “no makeup look” but is also quite buildable if you need a little extra help on more problem areas. I just ordered one for my daughter who is just getting into makeup (she’s 11) and she doesn’t need an actual foundation for her skin. She was previously using the Eaze drops from Fenty, so I am thinking she’s going to love this one even more! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an every day, lightweight, tint. Compared to other skin tints, the Summer Fridays is the most skin-like and does not cling to patches; perfect for days when you want something without having to use foundation. It doesn't make your skin look greasy/oily either like the ILIA one.I have a lot of natural redness and uneven tone but combined with the Dr. Jart Tiger Grass Camo Drops underneath, I think the coverage is perfect does a great job at evening out skin tone. The wear time on this is great as well - it doesn't patch, pill, flake or rub off. It also feels hydrating throughout the day. I wore it on bare skin and on top of a primer. Nothing made a significant difference. It's sheer coverage is enough to even out my skin tone and a few imperfections which is is just what I want now a days. Its hydrating, and leaves a natural finish without being oily. I've used it on top of healing, post-peel skin, and experienced no reactions or sensitivities. Doesn't sting my eyes either.
