Strepsils Extra Blackcurrant 24`S

I sing at a pub session and with a band. My voice isnt the greatest and has a very limited range, so I frequently have to push it a bit to get some notes. By the end of a night I sometimes get a cough and quite often my voice will pack up on the big notes. So, having read reviews I thought Id give Vocalzone pastilles a try. Im surprised. They actually do help. The pastilles have a clearing effect on the airways nose throat. They also seem to soothe the vocal chords and make things a bit smoother. The only downside is that they make your pint taste odd

These are my go to lozenges when I get any kind of an inkling that my throat is about to flare up.I suffer from throat infections so always carry some form of medication on me.These numb you and have a good flavour and they are the only thing that helps me!!! I even keep some by my bed

It’s cold and flu season right now, and these are a must. They instantly help to soothe sore throats and keep you from coughing constantly. They come in a blister type packet which you just press the back of to release a strepsil. Great taste easy to suck on.

I have recently joined a choir after an absence from choral singing of 40years and I found my voice was rasping and an itchy cough transpired after only a few songs. I was drinking plenty of water which only helped the problem for a few minutes. I spoke to a member of the choir who advised me to try Vocalzone. I tried several pharmacies in the Perth, Western Australia area and was advised that it could only be obtained on the Net. Once Id tried Vocalzone I found my throat was relieved for most of the session. Within a few sessions I found my throat was gradually improving. Ill keep on taking the pastilles when singing as my vocal chords may take some time to adjust to the newfound exercise.

As seasons change I tend to get a fever. Sometimes my throat gets sore. If it doesn’t heal by itself, I like to use Strepsils medical supplements/tablets. Mostly I get the lemon and honey tablets. They are big tablets that dissolve when they come in contact with your saliva. It takes about half an hour to a whole hour until they are gone. The taste of lemon overpowers the honey. Its not like sirup when you can feel instant relief. You can buy this in any drugstore or supermarket. Advice as a nurse: read the instructions, don’t take more then recommended and don’t rush. Your body can heal a lot by itself!

GOOD PRODUCT

These are marketed as pain relief for sore throats, but I haven't used them for that. I take Strepsils or Strepsils Extra to suppress my cough at night, and they seem to help.

Good for sore throats

These Extra ones (Im sure they used to be called Max?) are great when you have a really sore throat, the anaesthetic bit in them does a good job of numbing things. Very useful in the middle of the night when you need to get back to sleep.

Kills sore throats in record time!

These are not a cheap brand but well worth the money I avoid antibiotics and trip to gp by taking these as and when I need. They taste nice & you can feel them working straightaway. I wouldnt be without them, especially in winter.

Since I tested positive for Covid in mid August 22 and again in mid October, I have had regular coughing fits; it's like I'm always trying to clear my throat. Drinking water doesn't help. Expensive cough mixtures never help. One day in the supermarket I saw Srepsils and for the sake of about 3 for a pack of 16 I gave them a go and they worked. They don't stop me starting to cough but they do soothe my throat and stop the coughing on most occasions. The price I've just paid is 15 for 6 boxes of 24, about 10p each, and half the price of the supermarket..
