If you were a fan of Street Fighter back in the day, then this game is for you. It has ALL the arcade Street Fighter games in every iteration. They are arcade perfect and unchanged. Some have knocked the graphics, but they are exactly as they should be - these games are not enhanced ports, though there is the ability to use save states. i like the arcade port to the nintendo. same arcade grafix. ive only played the street fighter ll and turbo. i didnt play alpha or the other versions. l try to play online versus other people. but no one was on when i Que for online fights. this isnt like super nintendo where you can adjust the diffcult settings. this has one setting, the same as arcade, to make you lose quarters. ive played street figher in high school, so its a good collection to have. I bought it two more times on 360 and PS3 when the HD Online Edition came out but I still needed a TV. Yes, almost exactly 10 years later would I be able to officially play SFIII: 3rd Strike and the other SFIII versions on the go in one game. Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact is my favorite in presentation as it's the only one that holds up in official widescreen. The games are all based on the arcade versions so those used to any console versions (like me) will notice a difference. I still prefer SFIII: 3rd Strike on console but the arcade is good enough for me (even thought the soundtrack is lower quality than the console)!As for the competitive scene, I don't really mind the potential smaller player base on Switch as I'm not an online competitor. I've played fighters casually on arcade all my life and very rarely if ever online.Also one last thing to point out. You can exploit the save system and create a save state during your playthrough. So if you want to get through arcade mode more flawlessly if you lack the skill, you can save before a crucial moment and load it back up if you fail.Overall decent collection for classic fans and those interested in the history of Street Fighter in one compilation.
...Online is lacking. It's lag-based instead of rollback-based, like GGPO. (Hello, Darkstalkers Ressurection, Street Fighter 3rd Strike Online Edition, Skullgirls, et. al!)The selection of games is certainly a feat on its own, though having the option to switch to the arranged soundtracks from console ports would be nice. Especially in 3rd Strike.And how come proper Widescreen (not stretched aspect ratio widescreen) is only available in SF3 Double Impact?Overall, it's... fine. But if you already have versions of the games you're interested in that you are happy with and don't care about behind the scenes documents (which personally, I'm surprised have even survived THIS long, knowing the state of game preservation), this is a bit harder of a sell.

First the good; U basically have the entire Street Fighter collection as your finger tips including SFIV if you pre-ordered the game which I think was an awesome incentive, but i already own it on Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4. Yes, these are straight arcade ports with minimal options available and this is were the negatives come in. First the button configuration options are bare bones at best, you cannot select the level difficulty of the AI in any of the games, as far as I know anyway, Not enought screen filter options when compaired to previous console ports for some of these games, training mode and online ... At the end of the day I would recommend this game to any fighting game fan or gamer in general, there is a lot do still and of course the games are a blast to play either solo or with friends.

Street Fighter has always been a fantastic six button arcade video game franchise! Sadly, the Nintendo Switch Lite video game system doesn't have a 6 button arcade set-up on the system. When playing I automatically reach for the missing two buttons which can be a real game changer and an awful game-ender when slugging it out with Blanka and Chun Li. I WOULD HAVE GLADLY PAID 300-500 DOLLARS FOR A NINTENDO SWITCH LITE HANDHELD SYSTEM/STREET FIGHTER LIMITED EDITION THAT HAS THE ORIGINAL ARCADE 6-BUTTON LAYOUT! I'm sure I'm not alone. ... I replaced my Samsung S9 with this new Samsung S23. Seems to be a great upgrade. Faster and shows great battery life for my usage. Important to me was getting the 5 years of support from Samsung. The older S9 served me well but had begun to show lagging connections and security was becoming a concern. During the past 2 months it would not connect an outgoing call but received and sent text, emails and Google. Problem gone now.
Yes, there are way too many versions of Street Fighter 2. BUT the switch only has a few. Having this as a physical copy is clutch. Being able to play this anywhere with anyone is a childhood dream come true. Now if I can only hold on to my friends after completely decimating them.
