Excellent speaker. Best in class sound, better than comparable JBL in my opinion, fuller mids, deep bass, clear treble. App works well, customizable lights and EQ as well as presets. To me Default with Bass Boost sounds best. If you have Power Amp or other bass boosting software they can cause a bit of distortion above 50% volume, because the speaker is already making a lot of bass. If your input levels are correct, the speaker sounds great even at peak volume, no distortion. More than loud enough for home or outdoors. Sound stage is amazing, fills the room, and the bass is deep and punchy, hard to believe for a speaker this size. I love it so much I ordered another one (you can pair 100 or more together). I have used Anker Soundcore speakers for a couple of years now. The sound is quite good. When I saw a great deal on the Anker Flare 2 bluetooth speaker, I was interested but wasn't sure if it was really more just gimmicky with the flashing colorful lights. It was not. Instead was super pleased with how good the music sounded. It is a major step up over the Soundcore 2. I definitely recommend this speaker. Crisp, clear high range, solid mid-range, and excellent low range. Also there is an app that includes a mixer.

I bought this for a beach trip and wasnt disappointed. Sound quality was really good. Id say on par with my sennheiser head phones. Has as much bass as you would expect out of a small speaker but the bass boost gives it a moderate boost without distortion. Sand and water didnt bother it. Battery life was also good. 50% volume with the leda on i got three full afternoons of use without needing to recharge. I only got one so i dont know how linking multiple speakers together sounds but i will eventually get some more. I bought this becaue the sonos i bought is a pain to use. One last thing. Range is like 30 ft max. Keeping my phone in direct line of sight made a difference but i kept it close for best use.

This is honestly the worst speaker that I’ve ever purchased. It constantly disconnects from Bluetooth! Like CONSTANTLY! And do you remember the old fashioned tube TVs? Remember the sound that they’d make when their was no channel, or other input on the screen at the time? The snow? Well with this speaker, it’s so “staticky” that it sounds like “tube tv snow,” and that snow sound is honestly just as loud as the music that is coming out of it at the same time. AND that’s WITHOUT the extra bass setting on/selected. And forget about how bad the music/sound sounds when you do have the extra bass setting selected! Ugh! And that already horrible sound, gets a lot worse if the speaker gets wet, even slightly wet, even though it’s waterproof! It’s just absolute crap! I have a smaller, waterproof, Bluetooth speaker from Anker, the Soundcore2, that was a whole lot cheaper than this hunk of junk, and it just blows this Anker Flare speaker out of the water in performance all around, both connectivity-wise, as well as the sound. Since I loved my cheaper, not as fancy of a model, Bluetooth speaker that is also by Anker, when I needed another small, portable, waterproof, Bluetooth speaker for my garage, I thought that I’d “splurge” a little and get a more expensive model of Anker Bluetooth speaker since I was so happy with my cheaper, “lesser” model, because the more expensive, more fancy of a speaker model could, and would only be better, right? Yeah, NOPE!
I got this for 40 bucks as a Black Friday deal from Walmart.com. I ordered it Wednesday afternoon and got it at the crack of dawn on Thursday. How cool is that? I had several Bluetooth speakers and was decidedly unimpressed with all of them. Based on the reviews and the great price, I decided to give this one a try. I must say that I was not deeply impressed with this speaker right out of the box. A good speaker should disappear in a room, this one did not. My inner audiphile wasn't happy. I read if you download the Soundcore app one would have access to a equalizer and I hoped that would improve the sound. Alas, the app contained only Soundcore products so I deleted it. Yet, other reviews claimed tha app allows for equalization so I downloaded it again and this time it allowed me to search for my device. The app and the speaker smoothly commenced their handshake and I permitted a firmware download. Folks, thats all you need. With the download the speaker opened up dramatically and for the money it's hard to believe you would find better sound at this price. Soundcore, your app might be slightly glitchy but for me, trying it a second time saved the day. Also, an aux input would be nice and does the device shut itself off when not in use?
i caught this special of the year dor $30 to get one and i bought 2. That will be the 3rd and 4th Soundcore Flare 2 I have. This is by far the best sound budget Bluetooth speaker I have found, for 4 other brand that i have ever bought. The sound of a flare 2 is natural and firm. The high notes are not disturbing, the bass is strong enough that you can feel it when you put it on a table but that sounds firm, not overwhelming. If you need something change with the sound, there is an app that you can change EQ to your preference. Then, it is PartyCast. That is the only way i know that you can do multiple room in sync with just budget cheap Bluetooth speakers. PartyCast is also very helpful with church events. When its on sale (for me it was 59.99) its a value for money BT speaker. When its not on sale, you could probably re-evaluate your choices.Pros - Pretty good volume. Aesthetic. Nice LED Color. Good Mid range sound. Extra Bass Volume gives it a thump. Ability to pair with another speaker.Cons - Not Light, Stereo sound doesn't sound very stereo. Cannot reproduce lows and highs properly, mudded low/high sound. Pairing it with another Flare 2 doesn't give you the control of L-R. Runs out of battery life pretty quickly with the LED lights on.
I have two flare minis. They are in my bathroom connected to an echo flex. They pair super easy every time. When I saw these on sale I bought two. I have been fooling around with them for hours. I have gotten them to pair with my phone at the same time once but I have been not able to replicate it since. I unpaired with my phone and tried to connect to my daughters echo show. It won't even find it. Basically I can't use them both at the same time as I wanted to and I can't even find a use for the second speaker now since it won't connect to the other device I tried to connect it toMaybe I'll give one away or something, but I feel like buying more than one is a complete waste of moneyThey don't sync together like other models.
anker is already one of the best brands you can get out there. all the products they make are high quality, innovative and you'll never really be disappointed with anything they make. The speaker was a great bye. I got it on Black Friday for a great price. not knowing how it would sound due to its size, I wanted something that would be able to play over some outdoor activities like mowing the lawn stuff like that. well it's great. no complaints at all. It's USB-C which I appreciate connectivity. I never have issues or lag. the build quality is amazing. The base isn't very deep but the speaker you can tell it's quality which makes up for it. I would definitely recommend this anyone who needs just a good durable speaker. The lights are an added bonus
Nice little speaker, I knew the bass would be minimal and it's a slight bit better than I thought, but in certain songs you can hear distortion, but I did get this for 39.00 on black Friday special. Easy to use paired to phone right away as I have other soundcore products soundbar, and earbuds. And even the soundbar has some distortion when bass is applied at higher levels. I was a bit disappointed to see that a few days later that they lowered the price again to 29.00, so since they can be paired I purchased another one at that price. But Walmart definatley need to start price Matching thier items when that happens. Overall decent for what I'm using them for, lights are cool if you like that kinda stuff but I just keep mine off..
