I have been taking bitter melon off and on for some time to help my body process sugars in the hope that it helps mitigate candida overgrowth. (I also don't eat any processed sugar or high sugar natural sweeteners like agave or molasses.) The other 2 brands that I tried were tablets and even the slightly coated ones were really difficult to swallow even one at a time and often made me gag. This coming from someone who will readily swallow a handful of pills all at once... This one goes down much more readily.
It's one of the cheaper brands for this kind of supplement. Used to be even cheaper but have gradually been increasing their price.
