The SmallRig HawkLock Quick Release Cage Kit for Sony FX3 / FX30 (4770) is designed to protect the camera while providing numerous accessory mounting points. This modular cage includes a NATO rail and a U-shaped cage. The NATO rail is secured on top with two 1/4""-20 screws and can be removed to accommodate the original XLR top handle. The U-shaped cage is fixed with 1/4""-20 screws on both sides and the bottom, preventing twisting and featuring a cushion to protect against scratches. The hinge arm at the battery door is contoured to the camera's shape, enhancing grip comfort for the little finger. A dedicated HDMI cable clamp is included to protect interfaces and ensure stable signal transmission. The cage incorporates the patented HawkLock quick-release structure, which covers the cold shoe, NATO rail, and Arca-Swiss plate. This system is compatible with HawkLock eco-accessories, such as the Top Handle 4483, Side Handle 4485, and Arca-Swiss Clamp 4486, allowing for smooth sliding and self-locking to enhance the efficiency of assembly and disassembly. It is also compatible with traditional cold shoes, NATO clamps, and Arca-Swiss eco-accessories.
