It gets the job done. Annoyingly. The ball heads don't lock when the arm is locked. I'm not sure if it's a manufacturing defect, and it's not unscrewing. The ball heads simply don't lock down. I'm using a SmallHD 5 inch monitor, so I'm well below the 3.3 lb weight limit. There's definitely better products out there.

I use this on my a73 with a Small Rig cage to a Feelworld 7 monitor with the Small Rig cage. It seems to hold the monitor with only a slight loosening if I dont tighten the 1/4-20 all the way in to the max on the monitor cage. Happy with the purchase, for the price. I don't think it hurts to have an extra arm with all the stuff that gets attached to todays cameras.

Well made and does exactly what it's supposed to. The single knob loosens both ball joints, which also rotate so you can put the slots where you need them, and the center serrated section. The serrated center section allows it to take a good load without slipping. The single knob also means you have to grab everything in your hand to position it simultaneously, but that's not usually a big deal. It works exactly like some small machine tool indicator holders, if you've seen those- very rigid.

Do not believe that I would re buy this product and not sure it will get much use with my setup. The build is quite good except the plastic rings used to tighten the 1/4 inch stud. They were very hard to tighten and get loose and for that reason I will not use much unless I find a setup to leave them on at all times.
I recently used this arm and also the SmallRig Universal Magic Arm with Dual Ball Heads for streaming basketball games. I had Marshall CV346's mounted on the backboard support with magnetic mounts. They didn't budge when the support got crashed into by players. I will also be using these mounts on the backstop for baseball season.
The SmallRig Articulating arm is exactly what I needed to mount my camera where I needed it. Combining this with a super clamp is a perfect combo. You can mount your camera or other equipment where you want it. Highly recommend for anyone that's not able to find mounting kit or if you dont want to spend a whole lot on a tripod.
Paired this with an arca-swiss plate to mount accessories to my L-Bracket. Does exactly what I need and I trust mounting a variety of items with it.
Cant complain with this little unit. Does what itβs supposed to and hold the weight of the Ninja V with a big battery and add with no deviance from then the torqued position that is set. I probably should have bought the longer version for my handheld canon r6 stage rig but does its purpose and does it very well. Highly recommend small rig products.
It is equipped with 1/4" screws on both ends respectively. Thus, it could attach monitor via the 1/4" screw on the one end and attach accessories with 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the other end, like cage, NATO Rail 1973, 15mm Rod 1182 and Quick Release Rod Clamp 1976 etc. Mounted with 1/4" screw is a rubber cushion which could prevent the scratches of monitor and help to lock the monitor tighter. It features an ergonomic wingnut for great convenience that could help to adjust any angles based on your needs.
