Bought this 2 weeks ago. Thought this was a newer/upgraded version of the one I bought last year (not from Aldi). No idea how you get a slushi out of this machine. Followed the instructions exactly several times and nothing like a slushi comes out of it! The older version/last years machine doesn’t look as good but is far better. Waste of money. Not recommended.

I was looking for a present for my daughter for Xmas and after much consideration and looking at previous reviews, I’m over the moon I took the plunge and purchased this! Even though it does take a little time and preparation, it’s absolutely brilliant! Such a great buy and I would certainly recommend this item to anyone!

Was very excited about receiving this but I can honestly say it’s the worst thing I’ve ever purchased. Wish I could give it zero stars! It is SO noisy the neighbours complained! I followed exactly what the instructions said and 3 times a slush never formed, it was basically a cold water syrup being dispensed. Not allowed to have it running for longer than 40 mins as the motor can burn out. Uses a ridiculous amount of ice and salt and the faff is just not worth it! So disappointed such a waste of £55 HONESTLY DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

The flavours are really good and very tasty. They also taste great has alcoholic slushies too.
We thought that this would bring back memories of those long hot summers and having slush puppies. It wasn’t like that at all. With all the salt that needs to go in and there is a whole load of faffing around. It’s quicker to put ice and some flavour in the ninja and you’re good to go.
Purchased this as I like ice and slushesTried it out and yes out of a litre of syrup ( yes very sugary ) I got two cartons of slush delicious!However the process takes an enormous amount of ice and salt to freeze the slush ( it does not have a refrigerant unit built in )So unless you have an ice maker or American fridge that makes ice it would be near impossibleOverall the amount of messing about to achieve the slush does not make it worthwhile and certainly not worth the moneyThe machine has a stirer which is very noisy and can be heard all over the houseSorry but not for me
I was sceptical. After reading reviews. If you follow the directions properly you'll get slush after 25 mins. If you freeze the cannister and put your solution in the fridge 24hrs before hand (as suggested) You have to consume it pretty much straight away as doesn't keep it cold but I honestly love mine.
Just not great used loads of ice and salt and after about 3-4 hours managed to get 4 cups of watery slushy (after diligently following the instructions). Do yourself a favour and just buy a smooth maker, throw in some ice, a splash of water and a good cordial (spirits optional) and blend, job done in a few minutes. My son was devastated and even he said 'its just terrible mom after all the effort, not worth it'.
Really poor - far too difficult to use and too many variables. I followed the directions but the results were terrible and the salt although poured into the correct container managed to leak into the slushy. The amount of ice, salt and time needed with very poor results is just not worth it. I have since returned.
I buy loads from Aldi, but this is a big disappointment.It is terrible, it doesn't work at all and is a complete waste of time. The machine leaks and doesnt turn the liquid into a slushy, its basically just a cold drink!I will be returning it as soon as I can. Avoid!
