For the last 30 years I've used a thermorest self inflating mat , 3/4 length but as it aged it let me down . this exped lite mat is much better , softer , warmer, thicker although a bit heavier .Don't buggerize about updating your sleeping mat , just do it .I wish I had one 50 years ago

Purchased to add sub zero comfort to my BunkerXL. Light, small and does the job nicely. Should really include the pump at this price point just like the Megamat10 (-1 star). I've put several weeks of sleep on this to date and it looks to be just as robust as its big brother. Well worth the money

Excellent product got to use this last week comfy, lite and packs really small also bought the exped mini pump the perfect combination great service and always a pleasure buying from snowys thanks
My teenage kids used these mats for 2 weeks over Christmas. Both said they were super comfy. Love the separate inflate and deflate features. Come with a great warranty so I think well worth the money
I have heard good things about Exped products, and with this being my first one I will say, I wasn't disappointed in the quality of mat (at least at face value, I admittedly didn't use it for reasons disclosed). However, while the quality may have seemed good, the listed R-value on the actual mat itself was actually 3.1 not 3.4, and the weight was also slightly higher than the description given on the site. For what it's worth, the specifications listed here on Altitude are the same as they state on the Exped site, so I don't fault Altitude in that regard. It may not be a big deal to some people, but I had already considered the R-value a little low in comparison to some other options, and what I was looking for. Have done two overnight trips and now just got back from three nights away sleeping on a SIM Lite. They're brilliant. Self inflates and stays inflated. Very comfortable. Certainly makes you think it's thicker than 3.8cm! I'm 95kg and don't feel the ground when lying on my side.
My son used this mattress at the Australian Scout Jamboree. He found it very comfortable, and couldn’t feel the rocky ground at all. It folded up very small and light, which was very important as he needed to fly there with all required gear. The only reason he gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because it is quite firm, while he prefers a softer sleeping surface. I would totally recommend it to scouts of all ages
I found that this mat was too narrow for me, an average sized woman, as when I turned over I found myself off the mat all the time. I think I chose the wrong mat for camping with a vehicle's worth of space to pack things in. Probably great for hiking when you are carrying all your gear.
I've used this sleep mat along with my Exped bivvy bag as an ultra lightweight camp set up for many adventures now, a few repair patches tell of the torture that it has been through. My daughter has the same bivvy set up and we see some beautiful places that can only be accessed when every gram is considered, and every item you carry with you is indisposable. Comfortable enough to not worry over sleep after a hard day on the trail, lightweight enough to come along as a welcome comfort to reward your resolve. A worthy option for the most discerning of minimalist movers. Thankyou again Snowys for always having the best range of options to us aspiring for adventure.
