I bought this midcriohone so that I could interchange it with a previous BLX system I already purchased. Just like the description said, it’s absolutely perfect if you want to change between a handheld and another similar device such as a lavalier. I have NEVER had an issue with range, frequency, or interference, I do over 40 shows a year! Thanks AMS! I’ll never buy products anywhere else again!

I've always been a customer of Shure. They truly have the best mics for the vocalist of our worship band. This microphone is key to having a great sound, a great quality microphone hardware and much more. Highly recommended.

No complaints at all. Totally worth paying the difference vs the SM58. Much more responsive on stage.#sweepstakes

Use these great wireless microphones for our karaoke business. Always have a clean crisp sound, and the range is fantastic. Wouldn't think of using any other brand!#sweepstakes
We had lost the microphone to our BLX system. Being able to purchase just a mic was very helpful to make our system operational again. It seamlessly works with the transmitter we have. The sound is crisp and clear. It is easy to use. I didn't realize it came with the holder to screw into a mic stand, so that was a pleasant surprise. It holds the mic securely. I would recommend this product and other Shure products to others. #sweepstakes
The only thing that could be improved upon is the ability to determine what frequency the old and replacement units are. Certain sites required a lot of hunting to figure out what frequency the unit being sold operated at, and they're not interchangeable.
This mic works flawlessly with the corresponding wireless units and delivers the great sound that you expect from Shure mics. The best thing about this mic is the predictability. You know you're getting a quality product that will withstand the rigors of regular use and will always function well.
I setup sound for public speaking on a regular basis and have many unexperienced mic users who constantly stand by the speakers (even though I've asked them not to). This usually leads me to lowering the volume or getting some minor feedback (because I was distracted by an attendee). Up until recently, I've only used the SM58 (which I love). After purchasing the B58, I've noticed higher headroom and less feedback when the unexperienced mic users are close to the loudspeakers. I have not done a side to side comparison (SM58 vs B58), but from my experience the B58 does pick up nicely and it sounds great.
I purchased this mic for my BLX system. I wasnt impressed with the pg58 performance so I purchased this B58 for my blx system. Awesome Crisp, and Clean Sound. Excellent for Singers or Professional Speakers. Not ideal for amateur users who will hold the mic 6 inches or more from their mouths. This mic is best to be held close!!
I was first debating whether to simply buy the PG-series and call it a day. But I actually had the opportunity to hear them side by side off of the same BLX88 unit, and I have to say there is a significant difference in clarity. Someone mentioned to me if your going thinking of buying a wireless unit, either go low or go high, not in the middle (i.e. sm58). Although sm58 is a great unit i did not have an opportunity to test that one out and decided to go on the higher end of things with wireless transmitters. Setting it up takes about a minute: turn on the blx88 before turning on your transmitters so it can assign itself a channel and group, then turn on your transmitters (mics) and assign the correct channel and group to that of the BLX88.
