The open face design combined with the ease of use offered by the J-Cruise, made it into one of the most comfortable jet helmets of its time. Now, by adding the latest technology that SHOEI has to offer, the J-Cruise evolved into the J-Cruise II, creating a new kind of value for your riding experience. With the J-Cruise at the base of the design, the new J-Cruise II has an even more compact, modern and refined shell style. The helmet is constructed from AIM material and comes in three shell sizes to keep the dimensions and weight of the helmet to a minimum. The helmet boasts improved aerodynamic performance as the shell shape serves as a spoiler and improved ventilation by 30% through the addition of one air intake. The J-Cruise II uses the CJ-2 visor, with minimum distortion and a clear field of view. In addition, it is now possible to set the visor to a slightly open position to quickly defog and efficiently ventilate the inside of the helmet. The J-Cruise II visor is prepared for the installation of a Pinlock lens to protect against fogging of the visor. The new internal QSV-2 sun visor is 5 mm longer and further reduces sunlight entering the helmet. The premium materials used ensure a highly comfortable design when taken off, put on or worn. The 3D-centerpad + Cheekpads are detach- and washable and the fabric of this inner lining is a hybrid between moisture-absorbent, quick-drying material and soft raised fabric. This offers greater snugness and optimum comfort when wearing the helmet. The J-Cruise II features a micro-ratchet-type chinstrap and an attachment mechanism for the SRL or SRL2 communication system.
