Works well, shifts, nothing idiotic about it. Could not find a solution to directly attach to hope brake lever when I bought it in 2020 so used bar clamp. May be different now, something to think about, I haven't had any issues

The replaced the SLX shifter on my Giant Anthem, it has transformed the shifting. Shifts are super fast & snappy. Very lightweight & great quality.

I own both this and XT. Nobody is a bigger fan of XT than me, but the XTR is better. Some reviews say you can’t tell but you can. The shifts are just that little bit crisper and smoother.The carbon lever is nice and you can replace the plastic pads which you can’t on the XT.

I have the right 12 speed version. A nice upgrade from the XT shifter. The build and quality is impeccable. Worth the price in my opinion.
Shifts like butta! It replaced a Sram GX shifter. I like the location of XTR shift levers opposed to the GX. Action is a little lighter on the XTR.
Great shifter. Very firm positive click and feels really sturdy and well made. Double shift to the smaller sprockets is a nice touch too. Quick and simple to upgrade from my existing Deore shifter (which is admittedly already really good for the price), and the I Spec EV interface means less clutter on the bars. I believe the XT is very similar to this, so worth looking at if you want a great shifter at a slightly lower price. I got this at a great price and am very pleased with it.
I have had all other iterations of XTR including DI2 for the past 12 years. Plus XX Eagle and XO1 Eagle. The shifting with the new XTR is SO much better.
Top tier Shimano shifter. I am upgrading to 12 speed and options abound. But, XTR always provides Super crisp and reliable shifting. It is a bit pricey, but worth it.
Have been using this XTR 12 speed shifter for the last 3 years. Have it paired with an XT 12 speed cassette and derailleur. I use both Shimano and SRAM shifters on my bikes. Shimano feels superior. I do prefer SRAM rear derailleurs as they offer the locking mechanism to make removing and putting your back wheel on a lot easier. I think the best of best worlds would be Shimano shifter paired with SRAM rear derailleur.
I run the xtr shifter on all my bikes. Regardless of wether you have an slx, xt, or xtr groupset the xtr shifter is a must have in my opinion. Ergonomics and the positive solid feel through the levers is worth the addition expensive over an xt item
