It is a reel that any young or inexperienced fisherman would like to possess and use. With 3 sphere bearings, a roller bearing and Shimano gears, you cannot help but notice how well this laps and wheels well. This is further improved by the robust body of the extra-7, which offers protection to the internal parts, if it were to fall accidentally or be handled badly. It should be noted that the coil is aluminum, not in plastic, and has a AR-C Design which is also found on the most expensive Shimano models! All in all, it will remain very satisfied when buying an Sienna.

A great price reel, good entry level or, as in my case a good step up reel for my 8 year son. Caught about 20 plus Kahawai at the mouth with this reel. A reel that can used for shore or freshwater fishing.

Good reel nothing to complain about! Great reel for a good price. Already used for various fisheries, from carp to deadbait with pike. Can hold everything easily.

My third sienna reel, smooth at a good price. Its high performance helps me landing Gar, Mullet, Pinky, Yellow tail, Baracuta and even biger fish.
Really happy with this reel, the cast and retrieve are super smooth, it feels really well constructed and it's comfortable on the hands. Only minimal downside is it weights a bit too much
Very compact and very rigid reel. It works quietly. The brake is very precise and powerful. Mono fishing line alignment is solid, but the spool in size 1000 is very shallow and holds maximum 130m of 0.16mm nylon which is not enough compared to the standard ( min 150m - 0.16mm ). The quality is much higher than the price and only SHIMANO can do that!
I received the item in excellent condition in a great package. The reel looks very nice and high quality made. I was shocked about high light it is when I got it in my hands, I am very pleased with my purchase.
Cheap and does the job. Cant ask for more. Caught almost every fish there is in Tassie waterwith this.
Good origins and well featured. Individual unit Variability re. degrees of slack and clatter but not too sloppy overall. Do that the FG 4000 is not an HG as well. My 2500 works well w older braid. After 3 months No knots as yet!Points lost as big bail arm can be damaged, Skinny shaft at spool end, unsure why Anaconda says its salt water ready (though untested by myself - I presumed at price would throw out in 3-5 yrs or prob Need new parts after a big shark or 1/2 doz stingrays in my waters) would like ability to see into future right?
Nice reel for the beginner angler. I have had a Shimano Sienna reel before but that was the 500. This one fits better with my new rod. I am completely satisfied. Also with the service of fishdeal
