I've always loved Sharpies, namely, the ultra-fine and fine point types. On some surfaces, the stuff you write/mark needs to be allowed to dry for a fairly short amount of time or else you can smear it and then not be able to undo the smeared/messed up part, but on some surfaces it's set right away. Either way, once it's set, it stays that way. I have stuff I wrote I've written on with a Sharpie many years, even decades ago, that's still good as new or maybe only with a little wear.

Black sharpies are great for writing on almost any surface. They are permanent, waterproof and fade-resistant. The ink is bold and smooth, and the tip is fine and precise. I use them for labeling, drawing, doodling and more. They are easy to hold and last a long time. I highly recommend black sharpies for anyone who needs a reliable and versatile marker.

They're also great for writing on plastics, metals, paper, and more. The Super Black Pack includes a variety of tip sizes, from fine to chisel, allowing for precise detailing or broader strokes. The markers are comfortable to hold and have a sturdy cap that securely seals to prevent drying out. One thing to keep in mind is that the ink can bleed through thinner paper, so it's best to use them on thicker surfaces or in well-ventilated areas to avoid any strong odors. In summary, the Sharpie Permanent Markers Super Black Pack is a top-notch choice for anyone seeking bold, reliable, and long-lasting markers. Whether for professional use or creative projects, these markers offer unbeatable performance and quality.
Sharpie markers are an absolute essential in my daily life, and they never cease to amaze me with their exceptional quality and versatility. First and foremost, the boldness and vibrancy of Sharpie ink is outstanding. Whether I'm labeling items, creating artwork, or taking notes, the colors are vivid and eye-catching. The markers
The pros are enough to give this pen 5 stars but I was conservative in my rating. I like to read all the worst reviews on products just to see the crazy stuff people write. Some are crazy. The short version is this is the best pen out there because (PROS) 1. It is fast drying non-smear ink 2. It will NOT bleed through Paper 3. It is permanent on paper and will not smear or run if it gets raindrops or a spill on it 4. It writes smoothly with fine lines 5. It is acid-free archival quality 6. Dark BLACK ink (also other colors) 7. I received a box of 12 as promised Cons 1.
Sharpie markers are an absolute must-have for anyone who loves to add some creativity and flair to their work! They are incredibly versatile and easy to use, perfect for artists, students, and professionals alike. I love that the ink dries quickly and doesn't smear or smudge. Whether you're working on a school project, decorating a planner, or adding some personality to your artwork, Sharpie markers are the perfect tool for the job. Highly recommended!
These metallic markers dry faster than any other metallic markers I've tried. They have a good price point in comparison to those markers and can look very pretty when you first use them. The cons are that as you these markers a lot the metallic sheen goes away, which is the whole point of the markers. Additionally it can create a patchy or uneven, patchy appearance in what you're coloring with them if you're doing multiple strokes next to each other. While this is normal for sharpie products there are other permanent metallic markers that come out looking much more smooth and even sharpie metallic markers do.
I believe sharpie brand is a great brand. Their markers are a bit more on the expensive side, but you definitely get great quality products for the money that you’re paying for them, so I think its worth it. I love the unique color of having a silver marker rather than the typical black color markers that most people use when writing on things. These markers are thick enough that they will bleed through normal notebook paper, but they are perfect for using on pasteboard or cardboard to give a little something extra when decorating a board for school projects or creating a sign for an event. They’re also great for autographing items, because the bright metallic color of them really stands out, especially against a black background. They dry fairly quickly and don’t seem to smudge when writing on thick boards, even if the writing gets wet. The only drawback is that they smell very strongly of the typical Shapie-smelling scent. Overall, I would highly recommend purchasing these. I’ve found more uses for them than I ever thought I would.
NOTE: putting this at the top for people not familiar with these kinds of pens. They need to be stored cap down. If your new pens seem dried out, store them this way for an hour or so and see if that makes a difference. I have used the silver Sharpies for years, for marking black plastic electronics. Now, got me some color ones for fun. A girl's gotta have some fun, ya know! :o)NOTE2: the Sharpie pack I bought at Walmart just has 4 pens: Silver, Gold, Ruby, and Emerald. I'm going ahead and submitting this review, because there are no reviews on these colored metallic markers, yet, that I could see.The BiC 8-pack (silver, gold, bronze, pink, purple, blue, and 2 greens) I purchased via Amazon. The Sharpie 4-pack (silver, gold, red, green) I purchased in-store at ... MoreNOTE: putting this at the top for people not familiar with these kinds of pens. The black is the plastic back cover of the same composition book.Specifics:The names of the colors are per what is on the barrels of the pens.I wrote with the pens held nearly perpendicular, trying to get the finest line I could, even turning the pens as I wrote. See the pictures for the results. The three lines following each color were all done at the same three angles for each pen. The BiCs have more variation in that department. However, while I was able to get a pretty fine line from some of them in the three-angle lines, I was not always able to get those fine lines while writing. The ink flow seems a little freer with the BiCs, which may also lead to them drying out sooner. Time will tell.Smearing: Once good and dry, I didn't get any smearing from any the Sharpies, on either the paper or the plastic cover. The BiCs smeared only on the plastic cover, and they all smeared, with the metal colors smearing the least. The Amethyst, Sapphire, and Jade had a little silver showing through pretty much from the get-go. When I rubbed my finger across them, these colors smeared more, and it was the color that smeared off, leaving silver behind. The Sapphire and Jade had the most color rub off.In general, I like all of them. I think they will definitely do for my intended use.
