I received a pack of these acrylic creative markers through the Steller Product Testing Panel and was so excited to give them a try as I love to journal and take notes! I was a little bit disappointed in the color variety when they arrived. They were basically just primary and secondary colors and for my own uses I typically prefer less standard colors. I was also a little disappointed that they are not fine or chisel tipped for use in bullet journaling or adult coloring, etc. The tips are more like paint markers and they perform more as such. However, the ink vibrancy is outstanding and the lack of bleed-through is EXCELLENT. I was extremely impressed by how little they bled through even standard weight copy paper. Colors could also be layered on top of one another which was really unexpected and fun! (Sometimes the bottom color bled onto the marker tip a bit doing this but in general it worked really well to layer colors). While these markers didn’t end up working out well for many of my adult needs, they have been fantastic for use in school projects for my kids. The broad tips, bright colors, and bold vibrancy make them great for posters, signs, and other school applications. I highly recommend them for academic use!! We also still plan to try them out on smooth rocks and some other surfaces for crafting fun and school purposes.

I was able to test these markers as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, I really liked using these markers. The ink came out very smoothly which was great and the lines were bold. I wish there were more colors to use, but they had a good color selection based on the size of the pack. These markers work great on a variety of surfaces, but the vibrancy can change a bit depending on what media you’re using. I used them on just regular paper, a small canvas, and a ceramic pot. They worked pretty well on all of those surfaces, and I was pretty impressed at the lack of bleed through on the paper. I feel like they still will bleed if you’re coloring really heavy, but overall I was very pleased with how they performed. They do take a little bit of time to dry depending on how thick you go, which sometimes was problematic, but it also lent itself to a mild blending effect if I was intentionally trying to blend the colors a bit without ruining the tips. The ink vibrancy was good, but some colors popped better than others. I would be curious to see how they do on black paper because some of the light colors might pop better than they did on the media I used. The bullet tip made great bold lines, but I wouldn’t recommend these for anything with fine detail. It’s just a lot harder to get a fine line with these, but the bold lines they do make are amazing for certain projects!I think the thing I like the most about these is how easy they are to use and how smoothly they work. The look they make is like a paint pen, but much less hassle and a smoother, more controlled ink usage. I definitely would recommend trying this product.

I received a 5 pack of Sharpie Creative Markers from Stellar Product Testing Panel. I had high expectations for these markers after reading all of the surfaces they work on on the packaging. Also, the Sharpie brand is well-known for it's consistent quality. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the coverage of these markers. I tried them out first on blue heavyweight cardstock, but the ink ended up looking streaky, even after a few coats. The ink also stayed wet for longer than I'd hoped which also caused the fibers of the paper to pill. The other surface I used them on was a vinyl portfolio cover for my son's card collection. It wasn't as streaky looking on this surface, but again, I had to use several coats to get only okay coverage with the markers. I was still able to see the black surface after going over the project three times. This happened with all five colors. I noticed the red marker was more on the orange side than truly red as well. While the purple was vibrant and a nice color, black would have been more useful in this assortment.Something I liked about these markers was the fact that they were ready to write straight out of the packaging. They definitely held up to the no priming or prepping claim. The amount of ink was perfect as far as not puddling, running, or dripping. The bullet tip was a good size for medium sized projects and didn't breakdown at all while using them. I wanted to love these, but they just weren't it for me.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this office supply item. My first impressions of the sharpie acrylic markers were that the ink came out smoothly and the colors were very vibrant. The color options were great at first but after realizing the markers did not blend, I was disappointed I could not combine colors to make orange or to make colors darker. I created little cards for my kids and tried decorating balloons with them. Unfortunately, they do not work well with latex balloons. They did not dry quickly enough and will smear everywhere. They worked well on multimedia paper and did not bleed. They still do take a little while to dry on the paper so I have to keep it away from my kids for a bit. The bullet tip is my preference for markers because you have better control of lines. The ink vibrancy is potent and makes the marker feel like top quality. I loved the smoothness of the ink and it is a great marker if you intend to use these specific colors but if you’re trying to blend or make new colors I would not suggest using them. I would continue using them to make birthday cards or for making signs for parties. One thing I would like to add on the product is a clip so it can attached to a notebook or drawing pad.
I love traditional permanent Sharpie markers already but when I got to trial the Sharpie Acrylic Creative Marker Assorted Bullet Tip 5 Pk and found they were water based I become have become a super fan! From the very first line I drew I was impressed by the brilliance. The thick marker size makes it easy for little hands and yet not to bulky for more advanced creatives to use with ease. The color tipped lid and base make it easy to know exactly which color you're grabbing or finding the right color. I also happily noticed there is no smell to these markers.I accidentally drew over a still wet darker color with the yellow and some of that color stained the yellow tip. I easily drew a few lines using the stained area of the yellow marker on a clean paper and it cleaned right up.The only downsides to these markers is that the markings are not instantly dry on the paper and end up take a few seconds to dry completely and as they are water based, they do not write well on plastic type surfaces. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with Sharpie Acrylic Creative Marker Assorted Bullet Tip 5 Pk to try out in my home office.
I received a pack of Sharpie Acrylic Creative Markers through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and they are SO MUCH FUN! While I'm not the best artist in the world, I do consider myself crafty, and love to experiment with new products. These "markers" are more like paint pens, and can be used on so many different surfaces. I tried them out on paper, cardboard, glass, and metal, and found that they worked the best on the paper and the cardboard. The colors are vibrant, and the bullet tip allows you to draw thin lines, thick lines, as well as write out words clearly. That said, it was VERY easy to wipe off the markers afterwards, so clean up was a breeze. These could be great to use for a dinner party (names on wine glasses!) or even a kid's birthday party (snack labels).Unfortunately, I didn't have an acrylic surface to test these out on, but I would love to get an acrylic calendar and use these for our weekly family schedule. The bright colors would definitely add an element of fun and creativity to an otherwise boring calendar!
My family uses acrylic paint markers for a variety of reasons, and I've never really found a brand that I love--they tend to bleed through, some can't layer without becoming muddy, and priming them is annoying as they tend to have an abrupt splotch/blot of color. I was really excited to get a chance to test this acrylic marker from Sharpie out as they claim to layer well, not bleed through, and not need priming, so thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me these Sharpie Acrylic Creative Markers to try! I'll cut to the chase: I found them to be exactly as advertised. I'll cut to the chase: I found them to be exactly as advertised. I loved them so much in the 5 pack I received to test that I immediately went and ordered the 12 pack they also have available after I tried them out. They didn't bleed through on any of the papers I tried (standard printer, card stock, glossy papers, etc.), and could layer on top of other colors when dry. They dried very quickly on everything except for the glossy/slick materials--even on these they didn't have a long dry time and didn't budge once dried. Even on dark paper the Sharpie Acrylic Creative Markers were bright, bold, and clear. I cannot overstate how much I loved that they didn't need priming--anyone who uses paint markers has probably had the misfortune to have a blotch of paint come out when priming, but the Sharpie Acrylic Markers didn't have that problem at all. I loved that. Finally, they cleaned off of my skin with basic soap, water, and a bit of handwashing. No problem at all! I'm very happy with them and will be a customer going forward.
I received the Sharpie Acrylic Creative Marker Assorted Bullet Tip 5-Pk through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As a teacher and mom, I used these acrylic markers for a variety of purposes. As a teacher, I used the markers to label student desks and to leave positive messages on desks. Students also loved seeing them used during math lessons. It was fun to write on the table to model a problem when working in small groups. The paint comes off with a wipe (highly recommend testing a small area first, removal probably depends on the type of finish your tables/desks have on them). I also used them to label our bookshelves by genre. It added a bit of pizazz to the space and the colors popped! Again, easy to remove when necessary (but always test first!).As a mom, I ... MoreI received the Sharpie Acrylic Creative Marker Assorted Bullet Tip 5-Pk through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Again, easy to remove when necessary (but always test first!).As a mom, I used the markers to label and decorate our stainless steel water bottles. I attached a picture to this review that shows how the color popped on a dark tumbler and how it held up after a couple rounds of dishwashing! My daughter thought this was a blast…so I see more projects in our future with these markers. The bullet tip is great for medium to large projects and artwork. I never felt like the marker was drying up or that I needed to let it rest. Huge plus, the paint came out evenly, never pooling. If I needed to label smaller items with limited space, I would look for a finer tip. The ink vibrancy was great— you can see from another photo I uploaded how the colors pop on black cardstock. The blue was a bit dark on the black paper, but showed up great on other surfaces. I would love to see a neon pack in the future (hot pink, orange, etc.) Overall, great purchase for getting started with acrylic markers.
I was given this office supply item to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I used these markers to draw simple pictures/doodles as well as take notes during meetings. I am a fan of using markers and marker-like writing utensils so I was interested in testing these out. Overall, I liked these markers, but there were some things I thought could be better.I loved the vibrancy and assortment of colors. The assortment gave me all the main colors I would need to create a vibrant and bold look, but there wasn’t enough variety to where I would have all the colors no matter what I wanted to draw. For example, I wouldn’t be able to draw a classic tree because there was no brown. I also wish this basic assortment had black as an option. I loved that the colors didn’t smear for the most part and that they were vibrant enough to show on dark colored backgrounds. The vibrancy of the yellow was particularly impressive; it was easy to see even on light colored backgrounds. They weren’t as quick drying as I would have liked. When I was just writing notes, they seemed to dry quick enough. If I used them to fill in an area when drawing, it had the opportunity to pool a little and was prone to smearing if I wasn’t careful. The other thing I didn’t like was that the ink got all over the inside of the cap, which then got on the pen itself and then my hands the next time I used them. The silver lining, however, was that the ink was super easy to wash off. I was impressed by that.Overall, I liked the markers for simple tasks/drawing. The only downside I saw was the risk of messiness when it came to the inside of the cap and some spots not drying fast enough, but I will definitely keep using these. I could especially see myself using these for color coding and labeling boxes when moving.
I was given this set of markers to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and they have been such a great versatile addition to our household. I was impressed with the vibrancy and assortment of the colors, as well as how they translated on multiple mediums. My 5 year old has decided that they are now his markers instead of mine, as he has really enjoyed using them on all of his projects. We’ve used the markers to label dates and activities on a calendar, decorate our pet rocks, and even draw a windshield on our wooden school bus that already had multiple layers of acrylic paint. The color of these markers came through perfectly, much brighter than paints or other markers did. The bullet tip was great for the other mediums, but was a bit thick for normal ... MoreI was given this set of markers to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and they have been such a great versatile addition to our household. The bullet tip was great for the other mediums, but was a bit thick for normal jotting of notes or the calendar details. I was worried that the ink would bleed through paper, but was pleasantly surprised to see that was not the case. You do need to wait just a moment before touching the area you wrote/drew on, or you can get a little smudging (see the calendar picture in my review). I love that we have these bright colorful options to use for multiple projects now! I would highly recommend these for anyone that works on any artistic projects, or has a young one that loves projects.
