I got this for the hubby for Valentine's Day and we have Viking fest coming up so he was really needing a durable prop. This Axe is beautiful and well made.

So happy with my purchase, looks exactly as pictured and it's pretty sturdy too! I got two of these so my husband and I could play fight our boys against their foam swords. The first time they saw me wielding this axe they literally ran in terror because they thought it was real.\nI enjoy telling kids about the Fearless viking Ragnar Lothbrok when they ask about my axe at the playground.

It’s good! Arrived exactly as expected. The foam is solid but won’t do any damage to a person if they were struck with it. The whole thing is VERY light weight but not flimsy at all. Good size too. It will be a perfect addition to my husband’s Renaissance costume next year!

Really great item, is exactly what I expected and is very good quality. \n\nThe only complaint I could have is that it took a couple weeks longer to be delivered. However I assume that the quarantine for COVID-19 may be the main cause for this. \n(Was shipped out the day after it was ordered)\n\nAll in all I am very satisfied with this great product and would highly recommended this product, but you may have to wait longer with the Quarantine in effect.
I was very impressed with the quality and size. It's exactly what I need to complete my viking costume. The foam feels solid and seems like it will last a while. I was practicing tossing the axe and dropping it and fumbling with it did no damage. Perfect if you're going to conventions and cant bring real weapons. I'm considering wrapping some of my own leather around the handles and other personal touch ups, but honestly it's ready to go right out of the box.
Overall, the product was as expected. Was hoping for the lighter colored one as pictured, but overall 10/10!
This is a mass produced foam replica. If it has a core, I certainly couldn't tell, as it flexes when swung and when tested. The edge is very hard and almost sharp for a foam weapon, so it absolutely can't be used in almost any larp that is lightest or even medium touch. I feel that the description of this product was extremely misleading and I'm fairly disappointed with my purchase.
