This is exactly the right size for what we needed. I wanted a place to keep our cash, valuables, important papers and our firearms secure. This fit all of those things nicely without being over-crowded. It fits perfectly in the top of our close and was able to be secured down.

Economy safe with large capacity

Light weight with bolt down capability; bolt down is required because the safe is constructed of light weight steel. Adequate protection for documents and laptop computer with additional space for a few accessories. The non-relacatable but removable shelf half way up the height of the safe is fairly convenient for many uses. The two-bolt locking mechanism appears appropriate, since the safe uses a fairly sturdy and non-accessible hinges on the opposite side.The two key feature for emergency access is also useful for additional authorized persons. The digital locking provision appears to be the primary access.

Great Starter Safe

We bought this for our Grandson when he thought he needed to protect his treasures at the age of 12. He is a very mature & sensible preteen. This safe is portable so you don't want to leave it out in the open where it would be the first thing someone would see & pick it up & walk off with it but it's a fantastic deturrant for some. Just the right size for those smaller items and important papers. Securred both by combination & key as a back up in case the battery dies. We would recommend & probably would purchase as gifts again.

Great for entry level home safe

This was a great purchase for me. Not fireproof so I bought some fireproof folders for important things. It’s large but lightweight. It won’t stand up to a thief with tools and time but it appears pretty sturdy as a deterrent and I don’t have to hide the Rolex in my sock drawer. Good touchpad code entry with key backup.

Is this Safe "secure"?

This box accommodates a laptop that is 14"x11" along with i-phone, i-pad, external storage, passport, and jewelry. It is better than keeping it in a drawer, but not much better. I, like thousands of others, spend $2,000 on a computer and need something to secure it in.Pros:1) It has holes in the back that can accommodate charging cords.2) The holes are large enough to use a thick bike lock to tether it.3) The shelf is 14"x9."4) Included are two (2) screws, (2) washers, and one (1) wall anchor.5) The color is nice and the box has rounded, not sharp, corners.6) There is a piece of carpet in the bottom.Cons:1) The locking mechanism appears to be very flimsy. It does not feel "secure."For weeks, I searched for a low-profile (short but wide and deep) safe with a COMBINATION DIAL to secure my laptop. Ideally, a great computer safe would also be approximately 80 pounds.If SentrySafe could create a Dorm Safe, I think it would be a hot commodity. NO ONE makes a sturdy safe with those internal dimensions and a *combination-only lock. It does not need to be fire proof; for dorm use it has to deter "crimes of convenience."If the box had a Combination-Only mechanism, I would give it a 5/5 for the price and quality. (It was on sale.) However, because of the flimsy lock I rate it a 2/5.

Only key entry, electronic keypad won't work

I was exceptionally excited to get the safe! I got it all situated, put it in place, put batteries in the door, and tried the code given. It worked, but the door wouldn't open. Green light went on, but thats it, it would only turn part way, like something was blocking it. Ok, created a new code thinking maybe that was the trick and checked for a shipping screw messing it up. Nope.....keypad doesn't work. I know the exact issue. I've not heard back from anyone (granted they could be super short staffed during COVID!) So while I haven't had an experience with customer service, as of yet, I am hoping it will be fixed. I was just really bummed that it came and the keypad immediately does not work. Perfect and secure

We had a large sentry safe in our house for 24 years with great service. We’ve given it to our daughter for I’m sure many more years of service. We bought this smaller safe because we moved into a condo and didn’t need such a large safe. This safe is the perfect size for our needs. Very easy to set up and bolt down. Excellent!!!

Safe Mounting, Size, Assembly

This Sentry Safe X125 is the perfect size. I was able to secure the back of the safe with wood screws to the studs in the wall along with the bottom of the safe with wood screws to the shelve it sits on. It was easy to assemble and program. Sentry Safe 1.2 CFT

This is a functional safe...nothing spectacular. It is light weight, can be installed easily. The installation bolts/screws are not particularly good. I used better ones from Home Depot. The holes in the rear are too small for most laptop/iPad cables. The lock is functional, but lacks in strength.

My old safe could not compare to this new one. I love the bolt lock on it and the key pad for your code to be entered. If you should forget your code , no worries it comes with 2 keys so you can unlock it. It came with screws to bolt it to the wall, which makes me feel safe knowing that it can't be removed from my home. I love the idea of a shelf allowing me to put important documents and keeping them from being from being damaged .Thank youA very happy customer
