I didn't have a white dial watch in my collection and caught a glimpse of this on YouTube and instantly loved it. It's better in real life. Lightweight due to the titanium case, buckle and keeper. Probably one of the crispest white dial I've seen and the lume just needs a lick of light and it illuminates a treat. Was lucky as the price had halved during black Friday week and FCW offered a further discount. Great value for that price, not sure it was ever worth the full RRP but can't go wrong at half price. Great quality watch coupled with the always superb service from First Class watches. Well done.

I bought the watch (SPB191J1) thinking a "Shogun" is just a more refined "Samurai". How wrong was I? Its way way beyond that (I've also bought a Samurai from Firstclass watches previously). For a start it wears much smaller and its not just a case of the sharp edges being smoothed out. The difference titanium makes is incredible. There is no weight to the watch at all. The white dial is stunning. As for the lume, it only has to smell daylight and its glowing!! This really is a high end watch and head and shoulders above more entry level and mid range Seiko divers. If I was being super critical, (the only reason it doesn't get 5 starts for quality) is looking through a loupe (picky I know) the edge of the bezel is not completely smooth and the paint slightly chipped ... MoreI bought the watch (SPB191J1) thinking a "Shogun" is just a more refined "Samurai". But ins fairness I've read that titanium is incredibly difficult to work with. So that may be it. This Seiko has been a bit ignored, undeservedly so. A lot of people saw it as an overpriced King Samurai but being Titanium it does have its own character. At the price I paid it was a no brainer. Very pleased with it.
