I actually found this watch on the Macy's website at a cheaper price.But I've always been a fan of Island Watch thanks to youtube. If I was going to buy this watch, I would rather give my money to Island Watch rather than to Macys. I emailed Mark the price and he matched it!He was great about the whole thing which I wasn't expecting.Not only that, but he sent the watch to me just before Christmas!And pictures don't do this watch justice! This watch is beautiful!Thanks again Island Watch - I will definitely be purchasing more watches from you guys!

I really think it's one of the best looking watches I've ever seen. The watch doesn't look exactly like it does in the promotional photo, the dial looks silver most of the time and only looks that blue if you look at it at an angle, but personally I really like that and I think that's better.One thing I like about Seiko watches that's definitely on display with this Presage watch is the details. Beautiful watch! Bought this for our son and he loves it! Classic, elegant look that can be dressed up or down. The only thing to note is the watch band is more of a patent leather which doesn't show on the web picture, but it is beautiful! Love it!

I couldn't wait to give this watch to my husband for Christmas! The other reviews are 100% spot on when they say the pictures don't do this watch justice-it is an absolute GORGEOUS timepiece. I couldn't stop looking at it when it arrived! I wasn't a fan of the band it came with, and neither was my husband, but that always easy to replace. He now has a metal link band that's much more comfortable and makes the watch look even better (if that's possible!). I will for sure be buying one in a different face color for him, but you really can't go wrong with this silver face. He's only worn it a handful of times and gets so many compliments!
Based on the other reviews, it looks like I'm the only female wearing this and I'm using it as an everyday watch. I received this as a birthday gift from my husband and I just love it! I need the bigger face as most women's watches are small or full of bling. The rose gold is gorgeous! The starburst color gradient shows beautifully when the light hits the face. The leather band is unique and not at all shiny like another reviewer said - it's definitely matte. The clasp is something I have to get used to, but it's an intelligent design. It saves the leather from excessive wear and tear from taking it on and and off. For reference, I have a small wrist (5.5 in) and I am able to wear it on the smallest notch.
This is a very nice and classy dress watch. The sunburst radial pattern has striking beauty. This particular model has minimal complications (date only) so the sunburst pattern really stands out. Note that some photos you may find of this model Presage almost seem to show a very faint bluish tint to the dial. The dial is white under normal lighting, which is what I wanted. I knew in advance of my purchase that I would not like the shiny finish on the strap that comes with this watch. So, at the same time I purchased a black Horween leather strap also from Island Watch. With the new strap I am a very happy owner of this fine timepiece!
Bought this as a college graduation gift for my son, who recently developed an interest in wrist watches. He loves it! Online photos don't do justice to the watch face color or detail. Almost a very light silvery ice blue color to it. Super sharp. He wore it to a work event recently where another watch aficionado noticed it and knew immediately it was a Presage. The only reason for the 4-star rating is that as many other reviewers have noted the band can best be described as patent leather. Much shinier than online photos show and kind of detracts from the watch's look in his opinion. He bought himself a different band and is keeping the other in case he has a really formal event. Score one for mom!
Well finished watch,Seiko are conservative on their accuracy predictions,due to litigation.At the moment 10”a day.Strap is being replaced with Hirsh mock croc. In dark blue.Light blue only in Ladies size.Only collecting reasonable priced watches now,as I am lucky at my age that gold was at a reasonable price.Amen.
I haven't worn it as yet. But those who have seen it say how beautiful it looks which is my sentiment too. Just simplistic elegance is how I like to describe it. Thank you once again for providing me with another beautiful time piece.

I have long been a fan of the Victorinox Innox watch with its tough angular look and I think that is the first feature that attracted me to this watch. Its short angular lugs and solid appearance is confirmed on the wrist. It is quite heavy and has great wrist presence, giving me that wear in all conditions comfort. This is the one watch in my collection that I feel I could wear everyday, on any occasion, perhaps with the exception of dress functions. This watch is easy to read in pretty much all situations with clear indices, just right hands (some watches have hands too big, others so small you struggle to read at a glance), and this is my first experience with serious Seiko lume - it is great. If I have one complaint it is with the weight. I find I need to keep the strap reasonably tight to stop it slipping sideways on my wrist, and just on that point, I only have a 6.5 wrist but short lugs mean this watch wears very well. Accuracy is very impressive. I have not adjusted it since first wind and it has lost barely 15 seconds after 3 weeks. Value - I originally intended buying a Seiko SKX before they ran out but this Samurai popped up and at A$340 (new with tags) it was too good to pass. It is more refined than the SKX, has a better movement with hand-wind and hack, and for me has much more appeal. I knew I would like this watch but I have been surprised at its appeal. It definitely has a feel good factor and the honeymoon shows no sign of abating.
