In the cabinet it stood out, I went back and forth a few times until purchase.I was looking for a watch that looked good when wearing a suit (Dress watch).With the curved bracelet and gold showing between the links sets it off as a good looking watch. That and a good strong reputation in the watch market as a supplier and manufacturer.Styling looks good in any light, and people do look at it and ask questions.Solar powered by any light source and can last for up to 6 month in a drawer.The only drawback is the setting, apart from the time (simple as normal) the second hand is on a small dial and the traditional second hand is used for the date. I am very pleased with the quick delivery of the watch I purchased, not to mention the great price I managed to get for my Seiko Coutura . The watch looks fantastic, however there is a major problem I had not bargained for, I am of a certain age now and even with my reading glasses on I am unable to read most of the watch face apart from the time hands. This is a really good watch up to Seiko standard. There is only one issue which you should know about, it only receives a signal from it does not receive the MSF signal in the UK. The nearest site it will receive is the German one. This is weak in the UK and gets weaker as you go north. So it won't lock on to to a time signal in parts of the northern UK.

Very nice watch. Design excellent, fit very good with 2 links removed.Need to read set up instructions carefully and then up and running A OK.Very pleased with look, fit and how it works. A1.
I am a big Seiko fan and have liked this particular model for a while, always been too expensive. Couldn't resist at this price. I'm not disappointed, it is a work of art. It takes a little while to set up but there are a number of videos on youtube which help.
This watch has a higher price point than many other Seiko watches and is a beautiful watch, it really is, but it does have some minor downside issues. These are minor, but issues all the same. Some luminous dots at the hour marks would improve time reading at night, and the band has no micro-adjustments which you get with way cheaper watches, so it's surprising this watch has none. The band will also grab and pull hair out of your arm constantly if that is a comfort issue that might bother you. If these issues went away, I'd give the watch 5 stars, so it drops a star because the band has no micro-adjustments and the hour marks have no lume.
This is one of the best seikos I have ever seen or owned . The finish and quality is equal to my high end Zenith watch . The two tone gold and stainless braclet gives it a look and feel that is eqivalent to a lot of high end Swiss watches . And the watch facia is also presented in way that the dials and Batons are picked out in gold and look quiet distinct and expensive . The face is then surrounded by an exceptional two tone Gold and mirror stainless finish.I would highly recommend this watch if you are a collector or want a watch that is distinct from other watches and looks to have a look of class about it. If it were a car it would be a Range Rover Velar.

Having purchased the above watch, I found that the stopwatch and date dials were too small for me to read. I replaced it with a Seiko Automatic Titanium watch. I am delighted with my purchase.
Always had good service from H Samuel. Had to have some links taken out and was very obliging as usual. (Kettering branch). Husband loves the watch, as I have let him have a peek, but it is for Xmas as I have said.
