I used it at around -10 degrees Celsius in the lodges at Himalayas, and it was perfect. Used it during November times at the Everest trekking areas. It would warm up quite fast during freezing temperatures, and kept me nice and warm. I get cold very easily, so I am all praises and grateful for this bag.I also doubled it at times with my partner’s sleeping bag and was amazing as we could cozy up. Highly recommend!

Tried this bag out for the first time over a relatively mild weather weekend (40 degrees at night) and am very impressed. It's super soft and lofty. I'm 5'6" 150lbs and the regular size had plenty of wiggle room for me to feel comfortable in many sleeping positions (mostly side) and not claustrophobic at all. I wore a light layer both nights, light socks, and no hat. Snuggled in with the hood cinched up. I'm a notoriously cold sleeper, but I woke up in the middle of both nights super sweaty and had to unzip the hood! It's clearly built for colder weather and I'm looking forward to putting it through its paces. Also for reference, I was car camping during this trip and used a Therm-a-rest Luxury Map sleeping pad with a high R-value.

Bought this for my wife, who sleeps cold, and she loved it. Got down to about 5 degrees first night and she was toastie all night long. Compresses down small too. Down certificate shows a much higher rating than specified (I think it tested at 850)!

Great ratio of weight to warmth and also packabilityCan also make it work in cold shoulder season with use of warm liners
I am a dad with 4 kids, three of them being girls. I have tested this bag down to 40 degrees in shorts and a t shirt with no complaints about cold that being said we were using atleast r4 sleeping mats. They seem super durable and I believe after about 70 hours of research this is the best quality for the money you can buy. Warmth to weight ratio is awesome. I bought 2 reg. Bags and one long for me, yep that's right I got a womans bag for myself again because I think it is the best value at the highest quality. That being said there is a tiny odor that you can just barely notice.Thank you sea to summit. I love these bags I would buy again in a second. I am 5'7" and the regular can work but I prefer the long, the reg is just a little tight. By the way my girls are 9 ... MoreI am a dad with 4 kids, three of them being girls. Bought this as a light sleeping bag for a cold sleeper for summer trip in the Pacific Northwest. Great tent for it and it delivered.
I bought this bag for hiking in cooler weather between -5 to about 10 degrees. It’s perfect! My friend also bought one and is very happy with hers also. If you sleep in it in 13-15 degrees or warmer you will roast and not sleep well and wake in a sweat! Anything between -5 and 10 degrees is what I’ve slept in it for so far and am very happy with it in that temp range. (I have a summer bag for warmer conditions). I have a little thermal liner on hand if I expect the temps to drop under -5. The non catch zipper is brilliant and works extremely well. Little inside pocket is super handy for ear plugs or lip balm etc. Color makes me happy every time I crawl into it. Super light and compact. Down doesn’t move and stays evenly distributed as described. Do yourself a favour ... MoreI bought this bag for hiking in cooler weather between -5 to about 10 degrees. It’s perfect! I want to love this bag. Its so soft and comfy. Super easy to pack down. However I freeze at night in this bag when the weather is around 46 ferinhieghtWhich is no where close that what the rating is. I even use their sleep matt for colder weather. I've started wearing many layers when using the bag and I'm still so cold I cant sleep. Wish i could write a better review because I love sea to summit products. However, being cold is the worst. The matt is comfy tho. And if it's not cold outside the bag is great.
I needed a lightweight yet warm bag to take on the Colorado Trail.I love this bag so far! I haven't taken it anywhere as my trip isn't for another month. It packs down small and fluffs back up well, feels very well made and was comfortable when I got in to test it. I love the zipper for the side and the separate one for your feet. I'm very excited to be taking this on my trip on the Colorado Trail!
Packs down so much but explodes with loft when taken out. Zipped together with the Ascent makes a double bag that is almost too warm for most applications, but even in its own it is perfectly toasty.
