It delivers on its purpose. It is very light, compact, and dries quickly - great for travel where it is easy to compress into the storage pouch included and you can just toss it into your bag as a backup. Just manage your expectation as the material is not very soft and it will not absorb a lot of liquid (just good for its weight ratio, so may have to use, wring and repeat).

Packs smaller than the inflatable Aeros pillow, can easily fit inside any toiletries travel kit, is a little smaller than the same size Drylite towel, and very light weight. The first couple times I felt like I had to wring it out half way but it seems to get better with use and after a wash/dry cycle. Since it's somewhat "sticky" when you try to dry it's hard to pat yourself dry like a regular towel, I think the strategy is to let it roll and ball up to dry yourself off. Then wring it at the end to increase the already fast dry time. Normally I don't bring a towel camping, unless I am car camping or just traveling and will be taking showers. This is great for a carry on bag, and then a drylite towel in checked luggage when you get to your destination.

I like the colour and size options for this product. I especially like the compact nature and light weight packability. The towel material is flimsy and I doubted it's ability to dry very well. It's ok and gets basic drying needs met. It's not beach towel but for back up, and just having something on hand, it's fine. I don't typically like the feel of polyester and thought (well, hoped) it might be softer. It's a fairly tight weave so the fabric doesn't snag on my hands like some micro cloths do. I'm willing to try it. Would be tempted to go a bit bigger, this medium size will require some wringing and patchy drying for long hair and after swim / shower use. Will also have to keep a tight hold on it for windy days at the ocean!

When this towel arrived, I was dumbfounded - how could such a small package hold a towel that will be useful ? Throwing caution to the wind, I brought it as my only towel on a weekend camping trip. It was perfect, the thin material managing to hold on to enough water in order to dry out a big hairy dude, and then drying out in a few hours in the sun. Do mind the size though - these are not your typical towel size, and you should go XL if you want anything more than something to dry yourself after a shower.
This is my second AirLite Towel. Purchased the Small to carry as an EDC. It is the size of a full hand towel (larger than a face towel which would be their XXS). I say for emergency use since it is light, dries quickly, and compact with its own stuff sack, but the material is rougher and less absorbent so you may not want to use it on a regular basis. It is good for its intended use.
I bought this towel on a bit of a whim, just the small size. I've never regretted having it and have used it for so many things. I've used it to wipe out my mug when I backpack, I've used it to hold ice to a burn, I've used it for washing myself, drying my hands off, wiping condensation or rain off my tent... Basically anything you can think of to use a small towel for, it's awesome. It washes very well, dries super fast and I have people commenting all the time how cute the little stuff sack is that it comes in, ha ha! (But seriously, so packable). The only issue is you have to keep the stuff sack in your pocket when it's not packed or you'll lose the little sucker! The towel does snap to it though for easy hanging! It's also very durable. I primarily keep it in my food pack now, but I think I will be adding another one or two in different colors to my standard equipment this year, they're so darn useful.
Love love love. I bought the XL for myself and my husband. I was skeptical at first because they didn't look or feel like they'd dry a dinner plate after being washed. BUT they worked amazingly. Dried my whole body and didn't leave my crazy curly hair a sopping wet mess. After, we hung them up at camp and they dried quickly. They pack down small and they're incredibly light. Well worth the cost and I intend to purchase more for gifts for other campers in my life.
I got this Airlite towel in S size to use for travel and camping, and it has exceeded expectations - nice texture and feel, very quick-drying and very versatile - I use it to towel dry wet clothes and as a dish cloth in addition to using it as a towel. You can actually use it to properly towel dry yourself, it's very absorbent! And it's TINY in size - perfect to toss in your bag just in case.
This is a great little towel. I rolls up to the size of a lemon and will dry me completely. Dries fast too. A great product that does what it says it will do. I can't attest to durability because I just got it this week, but it seems well-made and Sea to Summit is known for its well thought out designs and quality materials.
I bought this for back packing, bike packing, and to keep in my panniers on my ADV motorcycle. After a few uses I decided I needed more than one because it was awesome. The texture will suggest it doesn’t absorb well, but it’s does. I use to carry microfiber towels or rags but this dries faster and packs smaller.
